I needed my Galaxy s5 screen and digitizer repaired. Price was reasonable, but workmanship was beyond subpar. They quoted a two hour turnaround time, it took 6 hours to complete. Two days later, the screen started lifting from the frame. I brought it back in, they said two hours, it took 4. Five days later, the screen was lifting again, back in to the shop, 4 hours. Week later, same thing, 3 hours. As I write this review, three of the corners of my screen have lifted, and I can see the inside of my phone. In examination of the screen, they appear to have used a cheap paper double sided tape to mount the screen and the repairs were just glue squirted by the glass which did not ever hold. I cannot recommend or trust these people to do any further work on my phone or any other device I have. ***Edit Update*** I was contacted by the owner of this franchise a few days after this review. He apologized for the inconvenience and genuinely seemed eager to resolve my issue. He offered another attempt to fix the screen by starting over; cleaning, and reapplying the adhesive tape. It has been about two weeks now, and this time the repair seems to have worked. I am happy to see that this place was willing to try and make it right. In the end, it all worked out, but I truly wish and believe that it should have been addressed in store the first time there was a problem.

Price was a little more than expected to get a new phone screen. You can get a phone screen fixed faster and cheaper at batteries plus. My screen has been cracked for a while now and I decided to get it fixed finally and this place was closer than batteries plus and had excellent reviews so I thought why not? Bad choice. It was about $150 for a new screen and protector where it is $130 at batteries. Also, they said itd take an hot and it took almost and hour and a half.. not too bad but still. Also, what Im most upset about it that the new screen is a weird color. It has a blue tint to it so it is completely different and throws me off and I stil scent gotten used to it after a while. Also, I dont think it was done right because while my phone is open and Im not using it, it will touch random spots and do random things without me touching it. Lastly, it is harder to type; I have to press harder and it seems like it misses some of the letters I type, as my phone wasnt like this before I had it fixed. Overall, very disappointed. If you want a better job, better service, go to batteries plus.

After going to Bestbuy and GameStop to see if my Xbox One could be repaired, I was quickly turned away because neither of the two do repairs on consoles. Next we called Cell Phone Repair and were told it was a $35 diagnostic charge before repairs would even start on the console. I searched online for another company who did console repairs and Device Pitstop popped up. I walked in with my Xbox One that had a jammed disc in the disk drive. We were greeted right away and told they would take a look at my console. Derrick (sp?) took my Xbox apart, dislodged the disk and then put it back together. All in all about 15 minutes. I asked what my total would be and was told just a Google review. I couldnt accept that because of the immaculate service that I was just provided with. I still paid the man and thanked him. Plus, hes getting that Google review he asked for. Amazing company and I will be taking all my future console, phone, tablet, iPad, computer and laptop issues there from now on. Thank you guys. Top notch service. PS. I got home and my Xbox works perfectly!!!

Luke was SO helpful! This might be the first official review Ive ever written, but its well-deserved. I was so impressed with Lukes technical expertise and his ability to quickly assess and diagnose my laptop troubles. Im not what you would call an expert - by any means - in this category so his ability to help me understand the issue and suggest a solution that made sense was beyond helpful. He turned my super stressful situation (not having a working computer) into a very easy and informative shopping experience, and was able to set me up with a new laptop the same day! Not only that, but the prices are very fair whether you need to purchase, trade or repair a device, and they stand by their products in both service and quality. (I also ended up bringing in an old laptop I couldnt use and Luke was able to bring that back to life, too!) I will always check Device Pitstop before any of the other online or big box retailers because for the price and the products they offer it has always ended up being worth a first look.

You could not find a better place to service your cellphone or computer devices. Ive used them twice and in both instances was very impressed not only with the friendliness of the staff, but also their thoroughness in inspecting and fixing my phone. They are very knowledgeable about the various phone products and systems and were especially helpful to me in determining what phone system I could upgrade to and what the new phone would offer. Further, when I had a temporary "glitch" in my iPhone 5, they were able to sort out the problem (appeared to be a bad downl-oad) and put it back in working order. If you need that kind of quality and very reasonably priced service, Id strongly recommend them.
