Received a wonderful book from my lovely sister but its unfortunate the book sent to me was used and poorly shipped by the store in Monroe Township NJ... In my attempt to return the book@ Burnsville B&N I asked to credit my sisters account but without the card that refund was not possible. I preferred a cash refund, again, this was a gift to me the funds were debited from the original card six days ago but this solution was not allowed... I took the used book back from the cashier and voiced my dismay in the disservice this B&N store has given me... They couldnt fix a situation where a sister store intentionally shipped a damaged item let alone this store couldnt find it in their customer relations to refund the original purchase in cash. I will never order anything from B&N because quality isnt a priority to them let alone attempt to reorder this book from them. Im purchasing the book from the vendor directly. Do Not Order Online from B&N!!!

Went there on 6.24.2017 near closing time. The cashier was Dee B. She was rude and very disrespectful. She refused to honor sale prices for items that had sale stickers right on them. The manager on this shift was very helpful. He noticed us asking questions as to why those items were ringing up correctly. He honored sale prices and explained why they didnt ring up in the first place (due to them switching systems for clearance). All the while, Dee just stood there, with a scowl on her face. As we were walking out the door, and after her manager walked away, Dee made passive aggressive comments toward us. I give this place a 2, because I appreciate people like the manager on shift. However, Dee is the reason I will go to neighboring towns for my Barnes and Noble needs. You lost 2 loyal customers. I suggest some serious customer service training.

The staff is awesome and if you are unable to find what you are looking for someone is always willing to look it up for you and or order it for you. The reason for only 2 stars is because my wife and I like to have Starbucks coffee here but its always like a SAUNA in this mall! Riverhills mall HVAC system must be regulated by someone from the equator! A Speedo and a pair of flip flops is all youll need inside this building.

Great to browse, good displays, summer reading program for the kids (we do this every summer), story times, and good deals on clearance books. Seriously, every time I am there I look through the clearance tables and racks and usually find a great deal. Also has a coffee shop where they dont care if you sip, sit, and read. Not to mention, Target is next door so you can get the rest of your shopping done.

At bottom of customer service barrel. Two employees totally ignored me. I may as well not gone in for all these employees cared. Despite spending 30 minutes looking through inventory and showing clear signs of being a buyer vs a tire kicker, still no interest from any staff in the store. Go ahead and close B/N stores, clearly employees do not care to even attempt to keep their store open.

I would like to recognize an employee, I believe her name is Amanda. She helped me check out on April 19th around 5:30. She was very friendly and even had a funny unique way of offering and explaining the membership program. I was very pleased with her above and beyond customer service. I also appreciate the other employees who offered me help as soon as I walked in the store.

Clean, tidy, organized. I go for the sale table first every time. And as I walked around with 5 books in hand a sweet woman who worked there asked if Id like a basket. I like that they do not bother you while looking at books. The checkout was fast and the gentleman was very nice and friendly. Great experience at the Burnsville location!

Awesome store. Great books, cool toys, fun and unique puzzles, brain teasers, board games, manga, and more. Nice open layout and every staff person knows their stuff. Even compared to other BN stores in the metro, I make the drive to this one.

With access to a small cafe, clean restrooms, and helpful staff, there is nothing more I need to be a happy reader. Not that B&N is the only bookstore in town, I just love to visit, look around, and spend time there.

One of my all time favorite places. Always have an up to date selection. Clean facility, that is also paired with a Starbucks so you can have a cup of Joe while reading. Definitely recommend to friends!

Nice store. Grab a coffee at the Starbucks inside, find a few books to skim through and relax for a bit in a comfy chair of couch. Good times. Friendly staff. Need a few more chairs.
