I have purchased several sets of tires from this location and have had overall great service until this weekend. I went in on a Friday mid afternoon to get a tire rotation and was told they were very busy. I offered to come back a different day and the store associate advised walking in the following day as he said they would get me in as tire rotations only take 15 minutes. I did as he said and returned the next day. I was told it would be a 1- 1 1/2 hour wait which was what i expected off of the info i receivded the day before. I had studying to do so i told them i would wait. They assurred me that they would get me in. 2 hours later nothing has happened, I approached the desk and was told i was next. 30 more minutes (total of 2.5 hours) still no 15 minute tire rotation. I called National Tire and Battery in Champlin who said they could fit me in for a tire rotation and did so within ten minutes of my arrival. I am going to think twice before returning to discount tire if this is how they balance their busy days. What good is offering free rotations if it takes close to three hours to get one?

I have mix feelings about this location. Specifically their integrity that they stand behind so highly of. Throughout the early morning I did my own oil change, detailed my car, and personally did a thorough wash and dry. It was now early afternoon when I brought my car into Discount Tire in Brooklyn Park to get my tires rotated. They estimated 1-1.5 hours of wait time, but I ended up waiting 2 hours; to which I was still quite patient. I went on my merry way to run some errands and soon realized that one of my center caps was missing from my rim. I went back to Discount Tire to inform them and they claimed that it was missing when they recieved my car. At this point, Im at disbelief because I was 100% sure that my center cap was there before I left it in their hands. Besides that, center caps dont just come off unless youre changing a flat tire or rotating tires; to which I have done neither for the past 6-7 thousand miles. So right now I dont want to make any assumptions and blame them, but I do advise future customers to take pictures before bringing your car into this shop.

My husband and I have both been to this location within the past year and we have both had great experiences. I went in because my minivan had a slow leak in one of the tires. Every winter my stupid check tire light would come on every couple of weeks. Finally I brought it into the Discount Tire by our house. I was greeted warmly, asked some questions, and a nice young man worked on the minivan for about 30 minutes. I watched as tires were removed, things were checked, and some parts were taken off and replaced. When he was finished, he came in and explained what he had done, what the problem was, what he had fixed. I thanked him and walked to the counter to pay, but was told there was no charge. I couldnt believe it! He just smiled and said to come on back in when I needed some tires. I was thrilled. This is the kind of service and practice that companies should be giving. Because now, you better believe that when I need a new set - that is definitely where Im going. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place.

The BP location installed "Used" tires on my car when I purchased brand new. I asked why the "new" tires have "used" written on them...they kept telling me it wasnt used. I got 3 different stories from Danny, Andy and Tong. I asked for new tires with sticker tags still on and was told they didnt have any. It was closing time,They sent me home with the so called "new" tires and said I had to wait until the new ones arrive next day. I wasnt going back to them, next day I called Regional office and was Able to get brand new tires swapped out with the ones they installed . Becareful and watch what they are doing to your car, go and inspect all the tires before they even begin to mount.

I have to say that I was very impressed with the employees at the North Brooklyn Park Discount Tire (610 & Zane). I went in for a leaking tire that had a screw in it. I am very fussy and particular about my Mercedes. Cody made me feel at ease and took great caution with "My Baby" I couldnt believe when he came to me with my receipt and said "NO CHARGE!" I was blown away! They will definitely get my business whenever I need anything tire related in the future. Great shop, Great people. Hats off to you guys! Nice to have this gem in Brooklyn Park.

This place knows how to do customer service and do it right. Over my visits in the past year, Mitch and Andy worked with me. They make you feel welcomed, explain things well, and do an exceptioal job at both service and delivering a great product. I first came here for a flat which they kindly fixed for free. And thats why I went back to them when it was time for new tires. They gave me a great deal and work fast. Cant go wrong with discount tire in Brooklyn Park. Customer service matters and these guys are the best at it.

My father and I went in to get a tire with a plug repaired, they told us it was unrepairable, so I said, "Thats fine just put it back on and well be on our way". They told us it was unsafe and would not let us go. I told them to put on our FULL SIZE spare tire so we could drive it home. He said no also. I asked multiple times. He pretty much held our car hostage and forced us to buy two new tires. This is one of the worst interaction Ive ever been in, and i will never bring my business to this store again.

A good shop. Came in and bought some wheels for a new car and had them mount my tires on them. I worked with Mitch and he is very calm and professional both to the customer standing in front of him but also to those entering, or if he has to pick up a phone call. It took them a little longer to mount the tire than they thought it might, but the lounge is adequate and the atmosphere pleasant. Id recommend the shop and Mitch if you need tires or wheels.

This is my second purchase from Discount Tires and Im very impressed by the superb customer service Ive experienced at this location and Maple Grove. I bought a new set on a Saturday and although they were extremely busy the staff never made me feel rushed or unimportant - they were very polite and professional and took the time to explain their products and services to me. Excellent team at this location - Ill be back. Thank you!

Simply put, Danny and Mitch are two of the very best at what they do and that attitude trickles down through the ranks. You will receive great customer service because the employees are knowledgeable, they dont try to oversell you and they actually care about the quality of service they provide. Over the years, I have been a customer at MANY different tire stores but this one stands way above the rest. Excellent!
