Bought an appliance on June 25 - we double checked they had it in stock or I would not have purchased it. Arranged for delivery and installation, the earliest date I could get was July 17. The night of July 16 I get a message it had to be rescheduled since they didnt actually have the unit in stock and manufacturer delayed shipment (why didnt they know this when I bought it, or why didnt they know about this 2 weeks before scheduled installation???). Called the 1-888 number (not the Brookdale store) and talked at length to a customer service person, who said their new earliest delivery and installation date was Aug 7 and assured me this time it would be a GO. OK, fine. July 30 I get automated phone calls that my delivery was delayed until DECEMBER. I call customer service again and said WTF is going on? They assured me (again) that I was scheduled for Aug 7 and everything was fine. Aug 6 I get a call from the installer to confirm a time for Aug 7. The morning of Aug 7 I get another call from the installer. He went to the warehouse to pick up my appliance. It wasnt there and no one knew where it was or anything about it. I call customer service again, screamed at them for a bit, and demanded a refund. They said they could give me a coupon for a 10% discount as conciliation. Did they really think that would make up for this? Utter incompetence.

Only reason Im giving this a 5 start is so that everyone could see this horrible review because they suck. This is the worst store anyone could go to they messed up on my order 5 times the managers are rude "Demetrius Masuca" basically told me he could not help me and there wasnt s*** he could do for me and said that I could call corporate if I felt like it he gave me the wrong number for corporate as well he has very poor customer service if youre going to be a manager you should at least be able to solve peoples problems and refused to give me back my money and was professional I wouldnt never purchased anything from the store ever again I called customer service and they couldnt even solve my problem they told me someone would contact me that could help me and no one did I will be contacting corporate and lets see if they could solve my problem or are they going to just curse me out like their employees such an unprofessional store in business....

Horrible customer service. I witnessed an employee yelling, and swearing at another employee right in front of me, and body checked them, to push them out of the way when they werent trained on the register. On another occasion, a couple employees, in tools, were sitting down with their backs to the door, and didnt even know that I had come in for a return. Neither were capable of doing my return, the manager that was called said that I could return my defective product. The supervisor that came over, didnt know what to do, and said that the manager was on the phone, and she didnt want to interrupt him, and said they could only do a warranty exchange. This particular store doesnt carry that item. So after about 20 minutes, I decided to leave and take my business to another location. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SEARS!!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Poor customer service and they didnt have a clue how to do anything. When a manager finally shows up to help she helps someone else instead of answering my questions. She agreed to let me return my closeout if it didnt work which was nice, but legit after making me wait 30 minutes but after the sale was complete she said I have only 3 days to return it. Then after waiting even longer for the warehouse guy and finally stepping into the employees only ghosttown of a backroom and yelling for a clerk for a couple minutes i discover that the warehouse guy had no notice of my backroom purchase because the clerk rang it up wrong. If I wouldnt have gone into the stockroom I could have wasted another 30 minutes waiting for my item and then try to track an incompetent manager down again for more extremely poor service.

Two stars for the simple fact that the prices are decent. They also have a decent selection of things so Im not sure why theyve "almost" ran out of business several times. Probably something to do with their management and employees, but who am I to say. Customer service is pretty much nonexistent. Employees are clueless and they do not know much... if you ask them a question, theyll pretty much just tell you whatever they "think" the answer is, though you can see in their face that theyre clueless as heck. They pretty much just leave it at that and do not try to go the extra length to have your question answered.

It was the poorest customer service ever! They promised a qualified installer to separate a stacking washer dryer, and then after we gave instructions and paid, they called and said they would not do that. We had to hire someone to Separate the units. Then they promised a morning delivery which was better for us. The next day they called the wrong phone number and gave us the totally opposite time of delivery than we asked. I was on the phone 5 times and spoke to many rude people. I was on hold 22 minutes for one call. I would never recommend sears ever. I will never go there again.

Horrible place. Associate was mad that i ordered too many items and refused to bring it to my car even though i did in vehicle pick up through app like the signs says. Items that i orderd were only clothing items so i dont understand why that was too difficult to bring to my car. After going inside i also had to wait another 20 mins to receive my items from a very unhappy associate who did not want to work even though im sure hes getting paid to. Worst part was the store was empty no one there but me and he was giving me attitude I guess i made him get up and work.

I just had my range installed 3 days ago and a burner would sporadically light when turned on. I called at 10 a.m. and was talking with 3 different people who seemed to be in the dark as to what to do about anything. After 54 min. and 45 sec. they finally said a tech would call me w/I 2 days. The broken English and horrible sound quality of their phone system made it nearly impossible to hear what they were saying. This was a lengthy & horrible experience! Sorry Sears but your customer service sucks!

Awful place to shop. Went to pickup an online order and walked in 15 minutes until close. After completing the paperwork, I was instructed to "pull around back with your vehicle" as it was a heavy tool chest and made for easier delivery. I pull around back and the door to the store is locked - no staff in sight. The store is locked up 5 minutes early and there is no one within screaming distance there to open the door so that I may retrieve my order. Fascinating customer service experience.

Customer service sucks no one here to help with questions and I was told that all and all their hands tools and bolt out sockets are lifetime warranty. I went back for warranty for the bolt out socket that broke in half, they told me sorry there is no warranty for the bolt out socket. I told them that they said even if it doesnt say lifetime warranty there is no warranty. Told them that he was the one who told me it there was a warranty on in because craftsman and if so you lied to me.
