I used to go to this Home Depot regularly. Every time I go to this location now I become frustrated. They dont downstock merchandise well. The product may be in but you will have to wait 10 minutes for them to locate more and get it with a ladder or lift. They routinely are out of stock of small hardware items. They dont communicate well: My mother purchased a snow blower. She put it on will call so I could pick it up later another day. She called the morning I was coming in to let them know to have it ready for me. When I came in nobody knew where it was and didnt know anything about me coming to get it. I have a different last name than her because she kept her name in marriage. (She explained this to them earlier) So... I handed the phone to the person "helping" me so she could say it was ok to release the snowblower to me. Instead of handing me back the phone when he was done he put the $400 iphone on the counter. It was then stolen by the person behind me in line. (this was discovered on camera) I missed an extremely important call that day and still over a month later havent heard any progress from the police. Home depot apparently cooperated and gave the police the information of the person who was behind me obtained (luckily he was returning something so they had his information). I went in today to get tube sand for my truck and salt for the water softener. The tube sand is in the back of lumber. I had 2 dogs in the car and didnt want to wait in their understaffed lines so left. In Eden prairie the tube sand is right by the lumber door so you can pull out and checkout in less than 2 minutes. They also put concrete there so you dont have to push a cart with weighing 1000lbs around the store. What a novel idea! I will go to Eden Prairie or St. Louis park. Plymouth is ok but more disorganized and harder to find help.

Another frustrating experience! Special ordered doors for our kids bedroom and tried for almost an hour to find someone to take that order... today went in to arrange delivery of these special order doors and 3 additional doors and all the sheetrock for our basement. Nope, not even possible! Customers were surrounding the millwork desk, another called the store to see if someone would assist. I tried picking up the phone at the desk and dialed zero... nothing and nobody ever came to help. So discouraging! We ended up walking up to the customer service desk and returning our Special Order doors... it will take more time to order from somewhere else. But customer service needs to be rewarded with our patronage. On our last trip to Home Depot we witnessed a frustrated customer wait at cash registers with lights on as three cashiers discussed more important things... we were all forced to walk through the group of cashiers twice, once to get to their abandoned registers and a second time to get to the self checkout lanes. As I told the group of employees how ridiculous they were... Another woman said the same thing had happened to her... she had just checked herself out too. This is the same store that had this guy in hardware rolling around in an office chair... injured? For like 6 months. Not sure, always wanted to call OSHA! This Home Depot is an embarrassment, compared to what it once was. Dont waste your time or money here, right across the freeway is a huge Menards, staffed with the most helpful and ready to assist individuals Ive ever met. The selection is great, and the service is everything that Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank instilled in Home Depot years ago... John Menard must have been listening, because service and value lives on at Menards.

This place is a joke - at least for window treatments. You have to go to the store to schedule the measure, wait a few days for the guy to have availability. Then physically go back to the store to place the order. Product is shipped to you (I had 5 boxes arrive over a span of 10 days, dont exactly have the space to store 7 foot boxes for weeks while awaiting installation). You arent able to schedule installation until you have received all items then you have to call the store to tell them youve received everything. Then you wait for the installer to contact you (scheduling time is 2 weeks after I received everything). On top of that, the guy who measures and installs only schedules M-F during the day (latest hed go was 3 pm and he wasnt happy about it). How convenient, not like I have a job or anything... :/ There has got to be a better way of doing this!!! Over $1500 and the order cant be tracked to automatically schedule installation for a day or two after delivery?! If I knew the process would be like this, I would never have gone through Home Depot and most likely I will never shop here again - especially for something needing installation.

I would give zero star if I could! Worst experience in the store like this. Not honor the price on the tag on the shelf! The store stock the square bee pot on the shelf and said clearance which is why i bought the pot without looking at the size on the tag because there was couple on the shelf (that doesnt look like customers put them in there.) I pick it up and go pay, the price doesnt match what it show. So i asked the cashier, i went to the shelf and he see what i saw. Then he called the stock guy, the stock guy measure the pot for me and try to prove that I am wrong!!! Wtf! U know the size is a small letter, and hey he told me to check on the upc before i pick up the stuFf! I think that is not my job! Another one is the bulb that has the sign in front "50% off", i pick it up and thinking to store them for next year. The stocking guy said this is not for these bulbs.... But the big sign is clearly in front of all the bulbs! He said these sign is for shrub and tree outside!?! I was like... Oh man this guy is really bad! I told the cashier guy that Im done doing business with you guy. I cant believe this happen in "home depot". So unprofessional...

Place sucks. I dont know anything about lights and wanted to pretty and clean up the garage for my mom. I went to the homework guy standing by the lights and I told him `know nothing about lights but I need some for this dark section of a.garade`. And he was like so you want some bla bla bla`·told him I know nothing about it and he looks and me like an idiot and rattle of some home improvement term I know nothing about. I felt like such an copy and was really offended. Im never going back here. Awful body language too. Crossed hand in from looking down his nose from his 6 ft frame at me. I left the store within 30 seconds, nothing purchased. PS. Sorry for any grammatical mistakes. Outside now, just left the store, looking for directions to LOWES. I was just so offended, it was just the way he was looking at you like a complete idiot. So dont go to home depot unless youre a home improvement expert. They are likely to bite your head off.
