First off, great staff and super helpful for how busy it is. Second I would just like to point out who this big box retailer price matches: amazon, Newegg, bh photo, other competitors like walmart and target. All items must be shipped and sold by those companies and not 3rd parties thru their sites. A great way to price match is by downloading the app Shop Savvy. You can scan the Barcode and see if some items are available at those stores at a lower price. It is our job as consumers to find the right price match if we want a lower price. If you find a lower price and tell an employee they always work with you. They just have to see that it works within their price matching limitations (all of this can be found on best buys website). Thirdly, the glass screen protectors for phones and tablets are usually the brand Zagg. Zagg has a life time warranty if you register the shield. Its a life time warranty if the shield cracks. The $8 fee for phones or $15 for tablets to have geek squad/best buy install it is actually pretty nice if youve never put them on before. If they mess up, they grab a new one with no extra charge for you. Also if you have to use your warranty (which is thru ZAGG), you can bring the new shield and they will put it on for no extra charge (as long as you have the receipt or rewards info when you first bought the shield install). Lastly, I love how this store has a lot of random items for the kitchen! I got a super awesome Caribu Tea Kettle. And they also have a small magnolia!

Not all Best Buys are created (or, managed in this case) equally. Considering some of my other [less pleasant] experiences at Best Buys, this is a very GOOD thing! The MoA Best Buy rises far above any that Ive ever been in. Certainly much better than another BB in the region (which will go unnamed, but if youre curious, read the reviews on the others). The staff were knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, attentive, but not "pushy." Frankly, this store should be a model to other retail stores (incl. other Best Buys) on both product knowledge and customer service. I was also impressed with the range of products readily in stock. Thank you for the positive experience. Im typically the type to frequent Amazon or Newegg, but this one particular store has certainly put Best Buy back on my radar for electronic purchases. (Also, FWIW, if youre looking to purchase something large and are concerned about logistics of getting it to your car, they do have a loading area in the parking garage and have staff that will bring your purchase out for you when youre ready to leave the mall. They make loading super convenient. Alternatively, theyll deliver for a nominal fee.)

All my life Ive been very against black Friday and "celebrating" consumerism. But I kind of wanted something from best buy today and dug myself into a pretty deep hole when I went in "just to look" at the item I wanted and noticed that it was 250 dollars off the original price. I was actually very impressed with the Best Buy staff, they answered all of my dumb questions and helped me find exactly what I needed even though the store was full of customers. (one older female employee, however, did knock into me kind of hard without saying sorry which was very rude) The guy who rung me up even walked me out onto the store and showed me more items I might be interested in, and talked with me thouroughly about compatibility of devices,etc. I am pretty impressed with the Best Buy staff at MOA and admire their ability to stay calm and collected during what is probably the most hectic day of the year, and instead of treating me like another number, I was treated like a valued customer.

Ordered a special DJ item from this store on 3/18/2010. They were great at first and a customer service guy named WES was very good this whole time. EVERYONE ELSE SUCKED!! They have a customer service girl from another country that speaks 12 words of english. We were told the item would arrive on april 3rd. Never came. 3 weeks later it never has come so now we are forced to cancel our order and buy from a real musician store....... guitar center. TOOK guitar center 3 days to get the same item!!!! The ONLY reason this best buy will stay in business is because its in the MOA. Otherwise, anywhere else, people wouldnt deal with the rude customer service people this store employs. If Best Buy cant fullfill small orders for musicians, MAYBE they should get out of the musical instruments market. BIG FAIL BEST BUY

Was just in the store today looking at figures when an associate stopped me to ask me if I was finding everything okay. I told him that I was and he must have seen the figures I was carrying because he then asked me if I had gotten my hands on a more rare harder to find figure in the collection and I told him no, he then went away for a second abd brought me back a figure I had been struggling everywhere to find and I didnt even ask him! I really wish I could remember his name because he was stepper! He also told me about a savings program you guys have on games and helped me sIgn up! What a nice guy! I really appreciated the extra mile he went if he would have walked away when I told him I was finding everything okay I wouldnt have walked away with the rare figure or the savings! Thanks again!

They say they will price match, but not really. When asked about specific websites and whether they will match their prices (website prices, not merchant prices) the answer is no, and no explanation given. Also, if you buy a phone screen protector from them it costs $8 to have it put on your phone when other places at the Mall of America will do it for free. So if the screen protector costs $20 you pay 40% of the value on top of the product to have it set up. Finally, staff will give you attitude if they come to realize you know what you are looking for, have questions about the products but will not blindly buy them.

Ive been here numerous times, large store with a great selection of items. What people fail to understand is that this IS retail, its the employees job to make sure youre finding what you need (I find it funny that if no one helps them, they complain that theres no customer service, then if too many people help them, its too much). I worked here for a while (no longer though) and I always tried to help customers out when I could, we dont work on commission (I would have had a much bigger paycheck if we did, trust me) so please dont get upset if they ask if you could use some help. Be friendly, be respectful.

Awesome service in the audio area. Link (I think he was a manager) and Tim (from the magnolia home theater section) were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was having some issues with a reciever but I wasnt able to access the settings because I didnt have a remote and I was able to borrow an extra remote to try to troubleshoot with before I went back across the state. Honestly maybe the best customer service Ive had in a retail setting. I would definitely recommend this store for help with audio equipment.
