Horrible..... I switched from Sprint to AT&T they knew that I wanted to use my work discount but said it would be fine to put it under my husband and that they will still give it to us we just have to call AT&T. We called there to add it and this is not true and in order to have the discount we had to have it under my name which included another hard credit check. Then they were out of the 6s so they said call and see when we get them and come back and pick one up. I called and drove the 25 minutes to get there and they said they had it when in fact they didnt. I had packed up my one year old and drove out in the cold because it had to be done within 14 days and also wasted my gas and time. Then I came back there after they finally had the phone it took four hours to leave there with the 6 because they had problems getting it switched over. When they switched the phone the tech kept my charger and forgot to put it with the new phone. So they sent me home with an empty box for my new iphone 6. It took three months for them to finally mail me back a charger and they dont even send me an apple charging port but rather an Insignia which is a lower brand and everyone knows that it is better for the phone to have an apple with apple. I bought a $800 phone from them and they cant even give me the charger took. It took three managers for me to talk to for it to finally come. I recommend going to any other Best Buy I have NEVER had a problem before, this place is an absolute joke.

I shop Best Buy all the time, online and in-store. This is the worst store to shop at or pick up merchandise from an online sale. I tend to find their employees (non-Geek Squad) rude, annoying, or simply uncaring. One time I had an employee from this store actually tell me that they do not carry some items found at other BB stores because of their location and store size. As if that was an acceptable answer to offering me junk instead of the item I was looking for. Three times Ive walked out of this store location disappointed or angry within the last 60 days. And one time I was amazed at the lack of care their customer service provided towards me, because they gave me the wrong product I had ordered online...but at a loss of profit to Best Buy because the model they accidentally gave me was better than the one I purchased. Ill continue to be a customer of Best Buy, but I will no longer visit this store location for any reason. Ill go to the better stores Ive shopped at such as Richfield, Apple Valley, and Eden Prairie.

Pre-ordered an item from this location and had it shipped to store. I get a notification on my item, informing me Im able to pick it up that day, which is a day early from release date. I call there to confirm the item is in, and I am in fact able to pick it up. Well, I called about 3 times within 30 minutes each time waiting on hold for 7+ minutes still with no one to answer the phone. I decide to go there only to find out they arent able to give me the item yet, and the early notification I received is "just something their system does." A bit frustrated I decide to purchase something to not make complete waste of my time. In line, the one cashier calls for someone to assist because there was a line forming. A supervisor comes up to assist but makes a rude comment about everyone wanting to check on at the same time. I normally dont make reviews, but this instance just rubbed me the wrong way.

I used to love Best Buy stores. While was in college I would often visit my local Best Buy just to check out the newest stuff and talk shop with the employees. I recall more up beat, fun, knowledgeable staff back then. These days its like you cant find a creative thinker in the bunch. Heck, its hard to even find an available sales rep. So if youre thinking you want to do something techie/creative/geeky with your set-up and youre hoping to find a like minded geek to help you plan it out, try Radio Shack. If youre looking at making a purchase and already know exactly what you want then Best Buy is the place to go. Its still 4 levels higher than Walmarts electronics center.

The worst service I have ever received. Spent two and a half hours there for new phone and still no phone. Employees are not trained properly and really dont know the steps they should be taking. Three times Haris (employee) said yes we can do it, so I didnt walk out. At the very end he came back from talking to his manager and tried to smooth it over. If they were trained properly and actually took pride in their jobs it would be a better place to shop and a lot faster. I would recommend never to go there because nobody should receive this type of service.

Bought new dishwasher - picked up at store once we unwrapped it - which it was wrapped very good discovered a missing leg. Went back to store to request part. Had another unit there but wouldnt let us have a leg from it because associate said he sold it to his parents. So we have to wait 5-7 days for replacement leg and drive back to store to pick up! Not very pleased about the handling of this. I guess I should be grateful to them that I didnt let them charge me for the leg they as first stated.

This Is One Of The Worst Stores I Have Ever Been To, The prices are outrageous. The selection is always stale AND the people that work there are incredibly arrogant and dont know the first thing about customer support. They simply think they are superior and talk far more then they listen. I will never return to this store again and I recommend everyone else steer clear also. Its well worth the trip to Burnsville or Eden Praire just to avoid the workers at this store

DO NOT SHOP AT BEST BUY Shakopee location... or Best Buy in general. Terrible terrible terrible customer service, always a long wait in line, management is rude (have seen them on their lunch break being terrible customers at other local businesses), employees are not knowledgeable about products and ignore you when you need them, awful return policies, overpriced items. Best Buy is a disgrace to other Minnesota businesses. Hope it goes out of business soon.

Bought a backup camera from this location, nobody had recommended Geek Squad installation so I figured it would be a quick and easy home install. No. The backup camera didnt even come with proper instructions. I went back in to ask for help and just got brushed aside, was told they could get me in in the next two weeks otherwise go somewhere else.... terrible customer service Im very disappointed

Its a great place to window shop makes and models of gear before likely buying it online. The place is rarely busy, which is odd since its a busy shopping area with WalMart and Sams Club right there as well. If you go in knowing what you want, it can be very quick...lots more check out, return and service than needed generally.
