On the 3rd leg of a trip 6 leg trip from Washington, DC, a rider in our group experienced problems with his bike. The yellow engine light appeared and his bike was only using one cylinder. Unfortunately, we arrived too late on Saturday in Minneapolis for any service department to investigate the problem. We decided to wait until Monday morning to have the problem looked at and then determine our next step. We reviewed the dealerships in the area and determined that Twin Cites HD opened at 8:30 on Monday compared to the others that opened at 10. We had to travel approximately 27 miles to this location, which was not the closest dealership. This was the best decision ever made. We arrived at 7:50(prior to the opening time). The dealership invited us in at around 8:10 (definitely before opening time) and told us about the service entrance and gathered some information about the issue. Around 8:45 am, the diagnosis of the bike was complete. It had been determined that the bike had a bad fuel injector. The issue was fixed by 9:15 and we were back on the rode by 9:30am. I say all this to say, exceptional service was provided as related to this bike issue. The responsiveness to respond to a traveler’s emergency was beyond excellent. I realize they had a full schedule of work scheduled with their current staff; however, they took the time to fit one bike in from out of town. I will always speak the praises of this establishment based on their response to our issue. Whenever I visit the Minneapolis area, I will stop by the dealership just because of the way we were treated as riders passing through. Again, I cant say enough on how great the staff and service department was ...this was a true blessing..Thank you all.

Re reviewing. Bought my bike in February my first bike I owned in my name. Had to go back four or five times because they lost my title, then they screwed up writing numbers scribbling so the dmv rejected it again, needed me to sign expedition, etc. took over 6 months to get it. Meanwhile after a couple weeks I start getting letters in the mail from eagle mark savings demanding a perfected lean or they are gonna repo my bike and Im payed ahead 4 or 5 months at the time. Just a joke. On top of that got the 10,000 tune up and they didnt seat the gasket on derby cover, rode for about 5 hours before parking and my brother telling me I had a puddle under my bike. Started having terrible wobble, they warranty rear isolator mount, wont do front. Brought it back again 3 or 4 times it wasnt right I tell em, thats how they ride he tells me. Brought it home called wild prairie for a steering head service problem solved. Embarrassing. My bike is my primary transportation and when I set up an appt two weeks out and you confirm you have everything and will have it back two days out, dont take 5 and say you will have it on the lift in am on day 4. Thats bad business. What ticked me off the most is the guy said you sure the noise aint in your head? Come on boss. I aint naming nobody on here but management didnt make anything right. All this and all they could do was expidite my title. Overall very unsatisfied. The one star is for the smiles and power statements. I gave you my money, you got me.

This HD Dealership is within 15 minutes of my house, so I frequent them quite often. I purchase a variety of items here; maintenance parts, oils, fluids, shirts, etc. Last Fall I decided to trade-in my 2009 Road King, so I stopped here first. Their Sales Management team wasnt even interested in my bike, since it was not stock. (What!?) As I left, the Salesman came out to apologize, but was very impressed with my bike; loved the look and sound. As I rode away, the dozen or so customers outside all turned to watch me ride away... it was a very nice bike! The next week I traded it in for a NEW Road Glide Special at Albert Lea Harley-Davidson; they gave me $13k on trade! Yeah...well done Twin Cities! Needless to say, I do not visit Blaine HD any longer; I understand theyre under new management now.

“We went to Harley North for their Spring Roll With Us Season Opener on April 15th. We had received a mailing to sign-up for a free kick plate and to join the Festivities. I received a call from Steve the week before and he inquired if we were looking to buy a new Harley. I mentioned we were in the Market for a Trike. When we got to Harley North that Saturday - Steve and a few others were there greeting the Guests. I found Steve right away - he helped us instantly find the perfect Triglide 2 Tone Maroon Trike! Less than 3 hours later we were driving away on this Awesome Vehicle!! Everyone involved with the Sale was Professional and Extremely Helpful!!! We Love the Triglide Classic and We Love Harley Davidson North in Blaine, MN.!”

Worst customer service, period. Their service department does not put the customer first. Imagine this: you are on your bike, swing it at 11:30 on a Tuesday and ask if they can check the battery because its starting hard. You notice there are techs not busy, and then the advisor asks if you would like to schedule and appointment instead because they are too busy to look at the bike right now. You then, very surprised, ask if you can just wait. They then say no. Then you drive to St. Paul Harley ( not close at all..) and they treat you like a valued and important customer and service the bike within an hour. Hmmm. What would you think about this service department ?

The evening I bought my 16 Ultra Limited the guys in the service department stayed late to help me pick out some parts I wanted. Everything from highway pegs to back rest was gone over to make sure they would be installed exactly as I wanted. Delivery was on time and friendly. Service visits have been very good, the guys seem very attentive to details when going over the bike. only issue I have had is after one of the service visits the bike was returned dirty. By this I mean greasy hand prints all over the bike, maybe not a big deal for some folks but the bike should never come back needing to be cleaned if it was brought in spotless.

This was the best HD dealer in the Twin Cities 2 years ago. Ownership or management change has really killed the vibe. Used to have knowledgeable people who enjoyed their job. In order for me to write this bad review I needed to be sure that there was a real issue and it wasnt just someones bad day. I have worked retail many years and understand bad days happen. Well 6 plus incidents later Im sure that this dealership is terrible now. Ill drive to damn near Wisconsin to St Paul HD from now on.
