Seriously, you cant go wrong with Normandy Optical. I see Dr. Koehler and while my vision isnt problematic, I do require glasses for reading. Being in my 40s, Dr. K explained what I can expect as the years progress (yes, bifocals in my future!) and an issue that may require more attention over time. The exam was thorough and in total, took only about 10 minutes. Dr. Ks "bedside manner" is great. Hes fun and talkative and explains what he is looking for along the way. I am a huge fan of going to Costco for glasses, the prices cant be beat and they have a great selection but Normandy Optical always has specials on their glasses (50% Off Frames when I went). I sat with Megan after my appointment and she helped me select the boldest, cutest pair of Dolce & Gabbana glasses. She was honest and if I put on something that didnt work with my face, she told me. This is what you want! You want someone who isnt going to let you leave with a pair that looks out of place. Not all faces are the same, of course, so those cute hot pink semi-rimless glasses might look adorable on display but might look like a bad joke on your face. All and all, heading to Normandy is a little bit of a drive for me but so worth it. A great Doctor, fairing pricing, honest help? Its a no-brainer. I will return again and again.

This is my first time writing a review ever! Felt the need to because my experience was honestly amazing! Dr. Jay Blazius is so nice, funny, & professional. He made me feel like I have been a patient of his for years even though it was my first time there. After my eye exam I had every intention of leaving and coming back to pick out my glasses with some help from a friend but after meeting Robert I did not have to do that. He is so helpful, honest, & a great listener! I did not feel rushed at all he spent over an hour with me and has good taste with great advice. I could not be happier with the frames I chose. I left there so happy & confident about my selection thanks to Robert. I will never go anywhere else & I will make sure I refer all my friends, family, & PATIENTS to them! Thanks again =)

I went here for my glasses and was surprised at the professionalism everyone had that I came in contact with. They explained everything and made sure I understood my eye conditions and what I was purchasing. the person I worked with went out his way to get me the best discount for what I needed. He also contacted me right away, when a problem arose. He handled and stayed in contact with me every step. I am thankful for the team they have working there. The eye doctor was also very knowledgeable and professional.

I cannot thank Dr. Blazius enough for coming to the Hayes and 21 mile location as they were getting ready to close. My fiance thought his contact was stuck in his eye, so he was messing with his eye for hours. I wasnt sure what to do, so I called the office and the ladies were so nice and helpful they called Dr. Blazius and we were able to see him. Dr. Blazius checked his eye and the contact wasnt in, so he put dye in his eye and found he had a cornial abrasion. Thank you so much for your time and help!

After spending several years of seeing four optometrists, for having double vision, everyone told me there is nothing they could do. (Including an eye muscle specialist). Then someone told me to go see Dr. Kohler at Normandy Optical. Well, Dr. Kohler with patience, took his time to figure out the problem. I am not 100%, but I am about 80-90% better, and for that I am grateful. In my book you cannot find a better caring person than Dr. Kohler. Thank you Dr. Kohler and staff.
