I walked into this store 10 minutes before closing, which I normally would not do because I have worked in customer service for many years. However, I had no choice and after all, isnt that what the store is there for? There was another person in the store shopping, and had several items. I picked up what I needed and was looking around while the cashier, (Danielle), began to ring up her items. She stopped what she was doing, walked to the isle I was in and yelled "Excuse me miss, just so you know, we are closed now!" I just looked at her and said ok as I continued to look around while she finished up ringing the other person. So, as she was bagging the items, I walked over to the register. I put my things down and asked her if she had a recommendation of what brand works well for a rose gold color. Rudely, she responded with "I dont know I would have to see the persons hair." So, I began to respond, since that is not what I asked her, but she interrupted me and said, "I need your card so I can start ringing you up, otherwise I wont be able to do this for you. Our computer will shut down." So, I didnt say another word to her. She just kept saying how her computer will shut down if she isnt actively ringing up items. I think she gathered that I was upset at that point and then wanted to offer all kinds of ideas and recommendations, even while I was walking out the door. I kept on walking, perhaps being just as rude as she started out. So, needless to say, I will not return to this store. Even if that was true, that the computer would shut down, there are better ways to talk to the people who keep you employed. Also, if that is indeed true, Cosmoprof needs to rethink their business design. It was only 6:04pm and if your computers shut down like that, you are not creating a pleasant customer experience. What if it was very busy in there and several people still waiting to check out? I get the whole, it is summer time, and you want to go home, but that behavior and response was uncalled for. Overall, terrible experience! I will continue to shop at the St. Clair Shores store where their associates are welcoming, friendly, helpful, pleasant, all of which Danielle is not. I have even had to go in St. Clair shores right before closing, once or twice. Both times, apologizing for coming in at last minute, but it was never a problem and they were more than understanding. Danielle needs to take some lessons.
