So my trip to CDS started with a hellish day involving my family using my gaming laptop and spilling coffee on it and frying my motherboard. They previously destroyed their computer with a similar incident and decided to ruin mine as well. First off I will say the fix was about $800 and I could have built a new pc for that price but I wanted my laptop back in order to continue my school work and my second job. This is however besides the point. While the first estimate of price was about $400 the company took my laptop apart and after a week or testing noticed my hard drive, was dead too. So that amped the price to $500. With my computer being a laptop it means only specific hardware can be used in my pc case, this lead to a long ordeal with Dell and a delay in the mother board shipping. Dell also sent an updated version instead of the current version which caused me to wait even longer before I could have my pc back. The whole fix it time? about 5 weeks, but very little of that time is due to the company not working and instead is due to Dell being a jack-hole and sending the wrong parts. Within fifteen minutes of me sending my pc in and leaving I received a call from CDS and they informed me that the motherboard was corroded and they would try to fix it along with a date to stop by and check for updates. All in all the events of the visit while tedious and time consuming were done well and I could not be happier with the results. I am using this very same computer to write this review as you read this and am planning to stop by and talk to them about a custom built PC. Mainly because I dont feel like building me own and this is easier, and Ill know everything is done right.

Very nice and Polite, I talked to Jeffery on the phone to see if i could come in and have a power supply tested, he said sure it would be no problem. I arrived and Jeffery had already went home for the day, so i spoke to another gentleman about having it tested. He tested it, and said everything checked out; however it did not. Upon returning home I noticed I capacitor that was possibly blown. So i ordered some capacitors and replaced the possibly blown capacitor( thinking this could possibly be the issue ). Still no power upon boot ( no fans etc ) After this, I finally broke down and bought another Mobo, CPU and RAM. Hooked everything up anticipating the wonderful sound of humming fans, alas there was no hum, so i decided to check all of my connections, I even checked the connectivity of the power switch ( which was fine ) fed up, I decided to Hook the ATX 4-pin power cable and the Mobo power cable to another computer that i knew worked. No boot......so i hooked the other PSU back up to the working computer and it booted back up normally...So, i ended up buying a new CPU new Mobo and new RAM essentially..for no reason; instead of buying a Power supply which is obviously what I needed. Now i dont place the blame on them for me buying a new Mobo CPU and RAM, I did not buy it through them. However, I DO expect that when I bring something in ( like a power supply ) to have it tested by a reputable company, that they test it correctly.. and give me the correct information and results...

I took my laptop to them 3 times, with the same problem. I paid $90+ the first two, then $200+ the third for a new harddrive. My computer was still super slow and died frequently. When I called up, they said its only covered for 90 days. and wanted another $80.00. I took it someplace else that said the hard drive was bad and way to big for a laptop that size. (they replaced the 250GB with a 500GB.) Very unhappy with the results.

Great place. Good communication and quick service. My Alienware laptop froze and Best Buy couldnt fix it because it was past warranty. I dropped my laptop off here Monday afternoon and it was fixed by Tuesday morning. Price was less than I expected also. Im happy ☺

Completely predatory pricing on pre built computers. They use dated hardware and try to sell it off with names such as "elite gaming". Dont overpay for garbage please do yourself a favor and get a PC elsewhere. As for thier repairs i dont know if they are good or not.
