THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE WATCH AND CLOCK REPAIR STAND ONLY Outrageously bad to the the point of being borderline criminal (willful conversion of property) and violative of Michigans Consumer Protection Act. Firstly, they under staff so very frequently you will arrive to find a "be right back in x minutes" sign because there is no one to cover breaks - frequently. Happened to me 3 or 4 times out of 5 visits. They allows late arrive from breaks by up to 15 additional minutes. Recently (in the past 3 months) they hired an atrociously awful attendant (prior attendants were okay) I had a clock in for repair. It needed to be sent out and would take 4 - 6 weeks. After about 8 weeks I called for an update. The agent was so unconcerned, bored - he just wanted to get off the phone. When wouldnt accept that and suggested he call the repair site for an update he became contemptuous. When he finally called back it was to say they didnt have the parts so they just didnt fix it. Didnt call, didnt send it back, didnt do anything. He said they would replace the mechanism of the clock with a cheap battery version if I wished but could not repair the classic works. I asked if the price was the same; he didnt know, didnt care. I insisted on a price estimate for a replacement mechanism and he reluctantly, contemptuously called and received the quote that they wanted $10 more. I agreed, but said it had already been there 8 weeks and I only wanted to do that if they could stop delay and get it back in one or two weeks. I asked him to call me back if they would not be able to do that. Naturally, no call. So, after 3 months, 12 weeks, I called again and reached Mr. Contemptuous Snot. Again, he could care less: it takes as long as it takes. I said, look, you have had this long enough, it was promised in 4 to 6 weeks. He said - dripping with contempt - shall i cancel then? I said, no, have them fix it and Id like to pick it up by either this Friday or next Friday. So, Mr. Contemptuous Snot took it upon himself to unilaterally cancel the replacement after 3 months for a customer having the gall to challenge a 3-month delay and make him do something between breaks. He caused Sears to breach their contract for a 4 - 6 week repair; they held my deposit money for 3 months; and they converted possession of my clock for 3 months. Most glaringly atrocious business can remember ever dealing with. A black eye on the entire Sears Department Store. The clock repair stand should be removed and replaced with an empty chair.

Consistently nasty restrooms and a consistently messy store, thats all this Sears is. I can see why Sears is doing so poorly if this is the kind of performance thats allowed. I dont think a store this bad can afford to go by the "The customer is always right." rule. Ive seen some customers get away with a surprising amount of stuff. One woman tried to return an obviously worn pair of Levi jeans, with no receipt and no tags. A business savvy store would have turned her away. But the cashier actually paged the manager and the manager personally returned the jeans. She just gave her the current going price! "Customer satisfaction, thats what keeps people coming back." Yeah, I would shop there all the time if I could trade in my old clothes for new ones and just call them "returns" Its too bad because the staff is generally friendly. Diane is probably the best cashier youll find. But unfortunately, youd have to shop there to find out.

Absolutely terrible store. I will never purchase anything from sears again. I purchased shorts to prepare for a trip. When I was packing for my trip I realized the shorts were damaged. They wouldnt exchange or refund the shorts. Essentially told me it was my problem. Called corporate and they said too bad. Shorts still had original tags and receipt and are unworn. What a terrible company that has no regards for consumers. Telling everyone on social media.

No wonder department stores are going out of business! They would not return an online purchase because it was sold on THE SEARS website through a 3rd party seller. Terrible business model!! If you sell something on your damn website then YOU should return it!! Now I have to jump through hoops to get my $$ back for an item that I cant use... Sucks...

Bought a dishwasher two weeks ago. They first showed up to my door with a dented, beat up unit. I rescheduled the delivery for a week later (earliest they had). Day before they call to say it was never scheduled! I cancelled the order and will never be back to Sears.

Turns out Sears Appliance installers dont actually install the appliances. The guys only put it into place and thats it. They did not hook up the included power cable, venting, or the included hoses. Cant get a refund either, because installation was free.

I had to give my lawn mower for repair, so I tried calling them, but nobody answers the call. So, I drove to the store with my lawn mower, but I was told that their system is down, and take my lawn mower. They wanted me to come back next day. Waste of time.

One star is generous. Awful experience. Wouldnt accept a return......30 days is their policy. Tried returning shoes I purchased online, order date was different than my delivery date. It has been 32 days....wouldnt even give store credit.

Prices are fine during sales. Quantity of things are better than other ones ive gone to. Staff could know a lot more about their products, only very few people here know a lot about what is here.

Good appliance sales associates. Spent a lot of time with us and werent pushy. Extended warranties are expensive but you get a bit more with them vs geek squad or something similar.
