Sales experience was great, but the service department needs some training because all they do is talk you in circles to cover their own asses. You ask a specific question, and they go around and around telling you all the things it could be that are YOUR fault. I am shocked at what Ford does NOT provide that Cadillac (domestic) and many other manufacturers (imports) do provide to their customers, such as 4 years 50,000 bumper to bumper warranty and free maintenance (oil changes, etc). My Ford was roughly the same price as my Cadillac so on a comparative level this is not acceptable. Where this dealership is earning their low rating is in the service department. My NEW cars brakes were squeaking so I took it in. I called on Saturday and confirmed the service dept was open but when I drove all the way over there, I was told "oh theres no technicians on staff today, we only do oil changes on the weekends." My car only had a 1,000 miles on it or so, so I just left, aggravated. The next time I took it in for an oil change, I asked if, when they were rotating the tires, they could take a look at the breaks since the tires would be off the car anyway and it should be part of the inspection done at that time anyway. Nope, they couldnt look at the brakes, I was advised to book yet another appointment. Several months went by and I had a day scheduled off work, so I called them again to book an appointment to have the brakes looked at, only this time I was told by the advisor on the phone that brakes are a maintenance item and not covered under warranty. Really, at 13,000 miles and a previously documented problem that you did not deal with when when two previous opportunities, you want to tell me now I have to pay for this? And oh by the way, they only have 3 loaner cars for the entire dealership, which is woefully inadequate. But, the option to RENT a car while they take who knows how long to look at my brakes was presented to me. Apparently, 3 years 36,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty is a lie to this dealership. When I asked for an appointment time, since Id be waiting for the car, he told me to drop it off between 11:00am and 2:00pm and I could expect at least a 2 hour wait. When I asked for a more specific time in the schedule, I was put on indefinite hold and I finally hung up 13 minutes and 17 seconds later. I say, if you want to buy a car at this dealership, more power to you, but plan on taking it elsewhere for service because you will be nothing but frustrated when dealing with these people.

I recently called Hines Park Service to have the Airbag in my 06 Mustang GT replaced (part of the Takata inflator recall). While the car was in I also asked them to look into a squealing noise coming from the clutch/transmission during a cold start. I set up a service appointment for Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM as I knew I was out of town and could leave the car all day. I dropped off the car on a Monday afternoon for the Tuesday appointment. I did not receive a call from the service department to let me know what was found with the noise from the clutch/transmission or to let me know that the airbag had been replaced. I finally called on Wednesday at 5:00 to see what was going on. It was then I was informed that my noise issue could not be completely diagnosed without completely removing the transmission - this would be a minimum of $800 even if they didnt find anything. The service technician said it could be the throwout bearing but also listed a few other items and said the repairs could range from $1100 to $1600. I told him I would have to think about it and would call him back . I decided not to do the repair at this time. So I called on Friday and said that I would be down to pick up the car in 30 minutes. Upon arrival, I was surprised to learn that the airbag replacement had not taken place and that my car was still in the back. I was told that they "were waiting for me to decide on the transmission issue" before replacing the airbag. This was a complete shock to me since it the primary reason for my service visit, it was never mentioned in any of my previous conversations AND IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I am perplexed that any dealership would take the liability of not performing the replacement and hoping that nothing happens. I wont be returning to Hines Park Ford for service.

Just bought my 2013 Ford Focus ST from Janet Kramb up at Hines Park Ford, and it was by far the best dealer experience that I have ever had. I have been to some dealerships where the business was good, no complaints for them. And I have been to some dealerships that were just terrible trying to pressure me into a sale, and trying to only move their stock in disregard to what I wanted. Janet at Hines Park Ford was nothing like that, she worked with me to order me the car of my dreams! It was the first brand new car I ever bought so I was not sure of everything that I would have to do or how the process exactly worked and she was there the entire time to help me through it. After I signed the car I was in a hurry and had to rush out, but she invited me to come back to get a walk through on the features of it. I thought I had figured just about everything out by the next day, but I came back anyways just to see if there was something I missed. Boy am I glad I did that, she spent about a half hour to a whole hour walking me through every feature of the car and the MyFord Touch system that it came with! But it didnt even stop there, I noticed a scratch on one of the trim pieces that happened during the building of the car, she made sure that the service department took a picture and ordered the new part before I even signed for the car! I can not believe the excellent level of service that she gave me. I am for sure a customer for life with Janet, she was by far the best salesperson I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

This place is so sexist its discussing, they treat women like there dumb as hell. I have taken my car here for oil changes many times, and I dont know why I kept taking it back. But anyways, every time I have brought my car in they have came up with some excuse EVERY TIME that I needed something done. They have tried telling me my wheel lug nuts needed replaced because they are "swollen" (there is no such thing), they wanted $175.00. They told me my rotors where bad and wanted $1,400. I took it elsewhere and they said they where absolutely fine and I had 80% life left on them. They told me my breaks where bad and needed new ones, when I JUST had them replaced elsewhere. They have told me I needed a new air filter, when I had it replaced months before. They have tried getting every penny from me!!! Funny part is my fiance took my car here because I was so sick of dealing with them, and they said my car was in awesome shape and there is nothing that needs to be done...... I was like are you serious! But thank god I am not stupid. I am never taking my car back. They are dishonest and money hungry, AND COMPLETELY SEXIST. So basically if your a women be prepared for them to treat you like your stupid.
