There is no doubt the mall is struggling to obtain retailers to take up space. Our theatre is absolutely the best theatre I have ever been to. We all want great stores to come to the mall. The one thing missing is shoppers. It is not as simple as if you open the store, the shoppers will come. It simply does not work that way. Getting to know the community of retail stores in the Mall of Monroe, I have found some of the best deals on department store name brand clothing such as CK, MK, Fossil and much more. I am a Carsons card holder and benefit from the reward dollars which enabled me to get a Fossil purse for a fraction of the retail price. Negativity seems to run rampant in Monroe. I found ways to save in this mall. You can too! If you want to save the mall and have other retailers come into the mall, we need more people to shop in the mall to meet other retailers criteria. There are many free standing theatres that dont have a place to eat dinner, so why is it necessary to have a place to eat in the mall? Growing up there was never a place to eat in the mall. Only pretzle places. Did you know you can use your Mall gift cards at the theatre and at Apple Bees? I believe the Mall of Monroe is growing and great changes are in our future. With Starbucks recently coming to town has opened the door for other investors. I look forward to all the positive changes ahead once the New theatre opens.

Mall Of Monroe needs a Burlington in the old Target building..a PotBellys sandwhich shop would be nice or a Golden Coral...Pat Catans should had been where Sears was instead of the back making the mall more inviting-it would had looked better had they open up the mall by removing the roof which could reduce the rent and make it look like its in a park setting with trees, shubbery, brick walkways and ponds....it was a really nice mall when it first opened and the food court had Charlies Coney and an Arthur Treachers...Hiils/Target. Sears and Pennys is sorely missed as well as the Roasted Peanut place they had at Christmas time...i gave it 5 stars when it first opened and i went there almost weekly but after Target closed i rarely go there except for Pat Catans...miss the Chinese Restaurant, Radio Shack, Alpha Gifts and that merry-go-round....you know a skating rink might be nice to have in the old Sears building!

Trying to figure out why ppl are giving it 4 to 5 stars. This mall has hardly any stores left!!!! Justice is the only decent kids store, kind of expensive tho. The mall itself is remodeled nicely, but u need stores to shop at. They need to add other stores that people travel to toledo or taylor for. Try a childrens place, crazy 8s, victorias secret, pink, etc... and dont get me started on the food situation. Taco bell, pretzels, and Olgas, and olgas is moving out soon too. Lower the rent so stores will actually stick around. And I miss target so so bad. Was not a fun shopping trip for myself or my four daughters, left and went to toledo bcuz a day of shopping turned into an hour of shopping here. Sad. So sad.

I am honestly surprised that this mall is still open after losing sears, target, gamestop, and others. This mall was never all that great on the first place, but at least it was local and convenient to go to target or grab a game. The theater is nice since theyve renovated that, but Ill be surprised if the mall is open in 3-5 years, especially not having anything else. The theater may be the last thing open in a few years, which is kind of ridiculous. Whats with Monroe having so many empty stores and strip malls?

The Monroe mall has lost a lot of businesses because of the high rent for space inside it but it still has a few quality retailers left including American Eagle, FinishLine, and Carsons. There is a Planet Fitness which seems to be doing well and a nice movie theater called Phoenix Theaters. The movie theater is currently getting an upgraded screen for a few rooms but it still is open. I dont enjoy coming here as much as in the past but this mall definitely needs some more businesses to keep it afloat.

The selection of stores they have is very minimal. Not many stores to shop at now that American Eagle, Aeropostale, and Target have closed for good. Although the lack of stores is a major contributor to my rating, the theater is a great attraction. Mrs. Fields, Pretzel time, and Taco Bell seem to keep up business as they are the only food court options they now have.

Nice little country drive and we ended up at the mall. They a store that is like a CRAFTERS HEAVEN, I will be making a trip there to check it more. The mall is very small, but really too many choices overwhelm me at times. There is a Carsons, Bath and bodywork, Olgas, Justices, a cosignment shop, Dept Shoe, and that is just to name a few stores in the mall.

Store selection is so small it is laughable to call this place mall. At any time there are multiple shutdown locations. Which they dress up to pretend there is no store front even there. Id drive anywhere else to shop hands down. Now theyve removing the food court. Movie theater is the only good part. If not entirely engulfed by local bored to death teens.

This was PROBABLY a decent mall back in the day, but today its very pathetic. There is an okay Carsons department store and a separate Carsons Home Store. Two empty anchor department stores and a Target. Lots of empty store fronts. I guess this mall just caters to local residents. Not worth getting off I 75. Head up to Detroit or down to Toledo.

When target was in the mall i loved it even more and would go there more. Now i just go when i do Christmas shopping or seasonal shopping and I also dropped my daughter off there from time to time she likes to hang out there with her friends and its a safe place for them to hang out I suppose its a whole lot better than when I was a kid

It is like a ghost town what is there is ok but is not keeping up with what the people need to shop. They took out the Sears and the J.C.Pennys and Elder Berman got bought by Carson and the stock went to half. The mall really has nothing to offer at all.Been going there at least 20yrs and it just isnt worth it at all.

Pretty simple. Just a movie theater, little food court with tables, quarter games in the middle of the mall by a little arcade (doesnt have an atm in it), a few shops and a lot of space for parking. Highlight: the movie theater was comfortable and has recliner red leather chairs with cup holders.

Ive loved coming here ever since I was little. The plan, whenever I went, was to go to Target, Olgas, and see a movie. Now, Target and Olgas are gone. All this mall has going for it now is FYE, Spencers, B&BW, and the theater. I love Vanity, too, but their prices are a but high, usually.

Very clean, safe mall. The only bad thing is that so many of the stores have left the mall in favor of strip malls down the road. Still worth going just for the really nice Hallmark store, and the fact that the mall still had Books A Million & f.y.e. stores. Its a blast from the past.
