Bought a bow off my buddy and wanted to get it set up to fit me and some new arrows. Went into Adams and had a great experience. The guy that helped me was extremely knowledgeable and helped explain a few things to me to be understand. My draw length was slightly more than what it was set up for and he easily couldve recommended me get a new cam for my bow to fit me perfectly, but instead said that the draw length fits me closely and to upgrade a cam would be almost pointless for the extra inch or less in draw length. Changed my draw loop to level it out as it was slightly uneven, added a new kisser button and helped me get my sight squared away so all I need to do is set the pins for my desired distance. Bought a dozen Victory V-Force arrows for $65 and when purchasing them, the employee explained that in case I do want to upgrade the cam in the future, he recommended cutting the arrows slightly longer for my actual measured draw length. Theyre slightly long for the length on my bow, but should I upgrade that cam, the arrows will be the correct length and I will not need to buy all new arrows. Great experience for being slightly new into bow hunting and very helpful as well! Only thing is there were only 2 employees working and with all the people coming in to shoot/site in their bow or maintenance etc., there might be a little wait before youre helped but its well worth it. Great private mom and pop shop who truly care about their customers. As mentioned in other reviews, they will not try to sell you anything you do not need. Walked out with a new D loop, kisser button, peep sight tube and a dozen arrows w/ field tips for $81. Not too bad. Plus I got to shoot the bow and make sure everything was working properly while he helped some other customers. It was a fantastic experience and worth the 40 minute drive!

We took a group of about twenty people down to the range, as part of a "Hunger Games" premier party, and the folks at Adams Archery were incredibly helpful and generous to us. They stayed open late, on a Saturday night, just for us, and they even brought in extra instructors to handle our unusually large group of archery-noobs, at no extra charge. When we actually went to the counter to pay them, the price they asked per person was three dollars less than the price we had agreed to! When I tried to pay the full amount, the lady at the counter refused to take it for herself, and instead put it into the donation box for their Junior Olympic Archery Development Program (or JOAD). Ive never been to an archery range before, but if I ever take it up as a serious hobby, this will be my venue of choice, and I will strongly recommend it to anyone whos interested in the sport.

Very friendly, and knowledgeable pro staff, large range with top shooters, and great selection of accessories (Specialty Archery, Sure-Loc, Tru-Glo, etc.). I definitely will shop there again even though it is 30 minutes further than the nearest proshop to me. Ive been to four other archery pro shops and this one beats them all. They had a great selection of Mathews, Bowtech and Hoyt (even the latest models) all in stock. The pros let me try several bows and spent time perfecting my bow (like getting the twist out of my peep sight) to make sure that the bow was perfect leaving the shop. They let me know the pros and cons of each bow as I was trying them. Either the pro, Jamie, was extremely familiar setting up a Mathews MR7 with a QAD arrow rest (and/or lucky), but it shot a perfect bullet hole the first time I shot it through paper (for tuning).

I hosted an event at Adams Archery, and could not believe how helpful and friendly the staff was. Since the event I was hosting was quite large, the shop manager checked with her employees to see if extra people could be available that day, and not only did she find enough instructors, but she called me back promptly to confirm so that I wasnt left waiting. I wish more businesses followed through like that. During our event, the instructors were all helpful and friendly and gave a great overview of how to shoot and all the different types of bows, which was helpful since most of us were novices. We had a blast on the 3-D shooting range, shooting at fake deer and racoons and boars. I would definitely recommend Adams Archery to anyone whos interested in trying it out, whether its for an event, an unusual date night, or just for a fun afternoon.

This is probably the best archery pro shop Ive been to in the south eastern Michigan/northwest Ohio area. We have Cabelas, Bass Pro Shop, Gander Mountain and a couple smaller pro shops in our area and I have to say this is the best out of all of them. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff and they have a nice selection of bows, arrows and other accessories. Their indoor range is great and they have a 3-D course behind the place, 15 stations with 2 targets per station will keep you out in the woods for a while! I live about 45 minutes away from the place and it is totally worth the drive to shoot the course. If you are looking for a place too get some knowledge, bows, arrows, accessories or have some fun shooting this is a great place to go. Five stars, highly recommend.

For a long time I have only practiced shooting my bow at home. A friend then suggested I try this Adams archery, so I looked it up. I told him he was crazy, a 40 min drive just to shoot at a rang! No way. So one weekend he pushed me into going with him. I loved it!. Staff was great and helpful. Jumped to get u started, and friendly. Time and distinct has no part in my choice. Give it a try and u will see why I give it two thumbs up.

These guys are awesome! Excellent selection of product. Very smart and friendly staff. Answered all of my questions. I know my way around archery, but I am self taught. So, they understood that I knew mostly what I was talking about and offered a true professional opinion and options. Check these guys out! Also, their 3-D range is A LOT of fun! Been there a few times and always left feeling satisfied. Thanks guys!

Fantastic staff - the quintessential American small family business. They are very helpful both with equipment and shooting techniques. They wont try to sell you something you dont need, and have done a lot of little things for my bow without any charge. The range is relaxing and straightforward, and prices are fair. They operate with a small staff, so Ive sometimes had to wait a while. Highly recommended.

Went there with my girlfriend for a fun date. I have very little experience with a bow, and she had none. The staff was very patient and made us feel totally comfortable from start to finish. Renting a bow and spending time on the range was so easy and so much fun! My girlfriend is begging for her own bow now. Adams Archery earns all 5 stars for their excellent customer service and great facilities.

I love this place! The ranges are very nice, with lots of different targets and distances. The pro shop is decked out as well, and the staff really know their stuff to help you out whether youre a beginner or expert. I started shooting here early this year with no idea about what I was doing, and they helped me get set up with all of the gear I needed to have a lot of fun.
