Want that old fashioned feeling of getting what you paid for and not feeling like you got ripped off? Then New-5 auto parts is the place. Paul Bacigal (owner) is a breath of fresh air in the auto parts business. He helps solve your auto problems while keeping your financial woes in mind. While it seems that the common trend in the auto part business is to rip off unsuspecting customers, Paul is an honest and quality business man who values his customers. I went to New-5 when my brake line went out on my truck on a Sunday. Even though Paul was busy with his family, he took time out to get me the parts I needed while also helping me put them on. I recommend anyone in the greater Livonia area to take the time to visit Paul and New-5 auto parts to address any problems with your vehicles. Even if it is farther than the other local chain auto parts stores, you will not be disappointed with the quality and atmosphere of New-5.

Paul was helping another gentleman who had a large auto parts order by putting the wiper blades hed bought into the wiper arms (Id never before seen this level of service anywhere) but he did look up and acknowledge me and the other man I had walked in with a huge smile. When hed completed that transaction he turned to the man, who was next in line. They had a friendly chat as the man only wanted to return several items that it turned out he didnt need. Paul was able to recommend to me that I buy both a 15 and 20 amp fuse to hopefully correct my cigarette lighter problem (needed to charge our smart phones. For an .85 cent item this would definitely save me another whole trip and I appreciated it a lot. What a great guy. I love having this local Livonia auto parts store located right down the road from my house.

This is the best Auto parts store not only in Livonia probably in the state of Michigan. Paul the owner bends over backwards for his customers. He keeps his prices down and will not sell you something just to sell it like allot of other auto parts stores. I had a battery on my truck i thought was bad. Paul checked it out cleaned the terminals and the battery is still working and that was 2 years ago. When ever i bring my son in to New-5 Auto with me Paul is always giving him stickers. If you have any questions about your car Paul will do his best to help you. He has even taken and done ride a longs with me to help me figure problems out. This store provides a great deal to the community in many ways.

I own cars ranging from 1916 to the present. Other places I have gone to from parts either dismiss me or give me the deer in the headlights look when I ask questions like "How do I hook up a nine inch rear axle to the back of a C4 transmission? Paul knows and he can find the correct U-joint to match things up. Its good to work with a fellow car owner because he often suggests cost effective solutions. Rather than replacing a part, he can advise you if a repair module is available so that you dont replace the whole thing. My wife likes coming to his store because he would rather come out and look at her car to guarantee shes buying the correct windshield wipers.

I try to get anything automotive related here that I can. Its the kind of place you dont find anymore, Paul will learn your name and can get you any part you desire. He gives sound advice on car repair and the best service for auto parts. He has a classic car club that meets there so sometimes you get a car show too a bonus. Forget Oreillys/Advanced/whatever unless youre looking for a specific brand of oil (Paul stocks Kendall, which is good stuff), this store -tucked into a corner behind Bo-Rics in Livonia for the last 25 years- is the best for fixing your own car.

This is by far the best auto parts store around. The owner is extremely knowledgable and always gives you the best prices around. He gives excellent instructions that are very easy to apply to any range of repairs or improvements to your car. He has multiple times even come out into the parking lot as long as he didnt have another customer to deal with and help me work on my car right there outside of his store. I cannot say enough good things about this store or his owner and it is always nice to support a local small business with genuine customer service.

Ive been shopping at New 5 for about 15 years. As long as you can stand Pauls sense of humor you wont find better customer service. This is a true local store with an actual interest in giving their customers personal service with a smile. If they dont stock it theyll get it for you fast. Paul routinely lends tools to my father with no questions asked. If you have a question Paul has the answer even if it means costing him a sale. Even if I find a better price I wont buy parts anywhere else.

Dont let the owners chiseled good looks and boyhood charm fool you, Hes quite the auto parts professional. After he set our dogs broken leg, he sold us the hard-to-locate alternator for our vehicle. He even offered to lend us the required tools to do the job, but we declined. His staff of trained professionals are always willing to go the extra mile to help you. High quality, fair pricing, and a good liquor store a few steps away, always keeps me going back. Bless you New 5 Auto.

Ive known Paul for almost 30 yrs., and he has always been attentive and accommodating to customer service, and competitive with prices. Someone who owns and operates their own business puts their name and integrity on the line with each transaction and has a vested interest in doing it right the first time. Contrast that with an $8/hr. clerk at the chain retail outfits and the difference is obvious. The independent businesses in our communities need and deserve our support.

i remember the first time my dad took me to new five auto it was 1982 30 years ago Paul gave me stickers , ever since me and my dad ed shop at new five auto in 1995 paul hired me to work there the best boss in the world , allways goes out of his way to help his customers , he always finds that hard to find part the others wont be bothered with, he will install your wipers for you while you wait, he has a degree in wiperoligy, he went to the IWU, ask he to show you his degree!!
