Horrible Customer Service; Employees are Disrespectful, Rude and Do Not Listen to Customers Concerns or Questions. As opposed to being "dedicated to customer service" and/or having "fast service" as they advertise, the employees Ive come across in the past 5 years have treated customers like dirt (not just me) while you can clearly tell that they do not care WHATSOEVER. Myself, my family, my businesses and my team will not be shopping at Menards ever again. As much as Id like to leave at least one positive comment, I cannot conjure up any delightful remarks regarding the experiences at the Kalamazoo/Portage location. I sincerely hope this remark deters people from having the same negative experiences I have witnessed at this location. Incredibly obnoxious, with rude interrupting remarks. Even when trying a phone call, you are promptly greeted with an automated message that explains how they are dedicated to service... An employee will answer asking if you can be put on hold without waiting to hear the customers answer. 12 Phone Calls at various times during the day; each one was immediately placed on hold. "Wast-ing Time @ Menards" P.S. the Corporate office is of no help or service either.

MENARDS DEFRAUDS SMALL BUSINESS BY HIRING THEM TO DO A JOB, WHEN WORK IS FINISHED THEY REFUSE TO PAY THEM. MOST SMALL BUSINESSES, ESPECIALLY IN MICHIGAN DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY AVAILABLE TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY WHO THEY MUST PAY UPFRONT AND THEN WAIT FOR YEARS WHILE MENARDS STAFF LAWYERS DEFER PAYMENT OF THE JUDGEMENT. I PERSONALLY KNOW OF ONE SUCH INCIDENT HERE IN KALAMAZOO. THEY SWINDLED A SMALL COMPANY OUT OF $142,000.00 FOR WORK THEY AUTHORIZED BUT NOW REFUSE TO PAY. THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT NOT IS IT CONFINED TO MICHIGAN, THEY HAVE DONE THE SAME THING IN MANY OTHER STATES. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. PLEASE USE HOME DEPOT OR LOWES, IF YOU COMPARE PRODUCTS BOTH THOSE STORES HAVE SUPERIOR QUALITY PRODUCTS. THANKS!

Receivers stink to high (blank) hours of delivery i was told was up til close... @10:40 refused me so they can get out. Smh after a hazmat rollover, a detour that lead to another detour, load 2x 1st the over loaded the trailer, and a flat tire 4hr wait to to get in shop and i made it with 20 min to spare they push me of to next morn crew

I have renovated several rental properties and almost always use Menards because the store is well organized and typically has everything I need. The staff is usually available to help though many times their knowledge is based only on the in store training they receive they always try to help.

I really wish that all Menards would learn how to display items. Why do you have to go to another part of the store to find a trowel for tiling? Novel idea, put them by the mud or grout...just a thought. And how about grocery items...some are up front and others are in the back

Everyone I encountered working there so friendly and helpful. Always has what looking for. Could spend hours in store. Great selection and ideas. Drive 1/2 hr to get there even tho another similar store real close.

The help some are great, others you might as well help your own self. If it not in the computer you are screwed. Products are all over place in the low quality high dollars or great products are great dollars.

Menards is your one stop shop, especially concerning home improvement. If you cant find an item here, a team member can fill out a slip to send to corporate and maybe that item will show up in the store.

Couldnt find Store Hours anywhere on the website. The phone number listed doesnt even have a recording with store hours--just rings and rings. Come on people, this is basic info.
