My fiancée and I first walked into this place last summer. Initially I had quite a bit of trepidation due to the bad rep a lot of pawn places seem to have. Within only a few minutes inside the shop I realized that this could not have been any farther from the truth. The owner is very friendly, and very outgoing. The place is clean, and well lit, and feels more like a local thrift store than a pawn shop. We spent the rest of the day talking to the owner, and have been back weekly ever since. Theres always something new in his shop. His place has become a real go-to place to find old hard-to-find hand tools and I always take a swing thru his huge racks of cassettes and vinyl. Hes also the sole provider of scateboards and parts in the area, and its always nice to see todays kids outside in parking lots or sidewalks playing, rather than inside video gaming. Oh, and his cat is pretty legendary in his own right.

We were lied to and he sold our belongings after he lied and said the police had to make sure it was not stolen. None of that happened and he sold the drill set before the date we were to pick it up. Hes not very honest. Later he tried to get us to buy it back for 90.00 said he talk to the guy he sold it to but we never heard from him again. Not very honest.

I have too be honest i have been in a few different pawn shops but i have too say that the owner actually cares more about the customer then the product when u go inside they make u feel like your part of the family which is nice i would recomend this place too anyone and everyone

Incredible gem in downtown Ishpeming. Definitely a little bit of everything. The owner is hella friendly and will totally work with you. Theyre always playing good tunes as well. Go check it out!!
