Me and my compatriots visited this Meijer after seeing a movie. We were ready to provide our service when we were approached by a woman who said they had received complaints about us. While we were in a good mood openly, we were not at all loud, obnoxious or violating policies. I also was going to buy an extension cord and when she asked if we were buying anything, I showed her the cord. She accused me of trying to steal the cord. Why would I grab a whole cart for a $3 cord, let alone steal it? When she first reprimanded us, we were very reasonable and said we were sorry and would be leaving after we checked out. She did not back down, and left us with a very poor experience at this Meijer. I love the experiences I have had at other Meijer stores in the area, but this one seemed to be different from others.

My husbands phone got left in a cart and when we came back 20 minutes later the phone was gone. So we have had to wait three days to have them check security cameras in the parking lot, not to mention call their customer service a lot! Not only do you have to wait 15 minutes on hold just to get to talk to someone then you have to wait to be transferred! Two more times to get to a manager that knows what is going on. Security people have still not came in to check cameras and nothing has been done to speed the process up! All in all it has not been helpful trying to work with Meijer. Dont waist you time calling because thats all they will do!

This location is alright. I moved to Grand Haven from Grand Rapids and quickly noticed that this store is set up completely different from every other Meijer Ive been to. The chain of Meijer stores in Grand Rapids are all set up and modeled after one-another so it is easy to find items you want, but this store is the odd-ball which makes it difficult to find MANY things. I have circled the store multiple times in a single trip looking for something that is out of place in comparison to other Meijer stores.

Your standard Meijer but with one odd thing that forces me to give it the 3 stars. Of all the Meijers I have visited/shopped, this store seems to be laid out weird, especially the food department things arent grouped together. Like beverages, you get OJ at one end of the store and then juice, water and soda at the other. Also the produce area is very crammed, making it almost impossible to get 2 carts through any given isle. Store is clean and well kept though.

Bobbi Kristina on being the stuff that should be all been eliminated now whats the difference between baked beans and steak beans with stuff beings as being the same brand I dont think thats right and a few other things that was in there too so its on the dollar and the Bear mother to him was not the same price you guys need to look into that because people against with Meijer alright thank you have a blessed day

Call in customer service leaves a lot to be desired. All I got was "next available customer service representative would be happy to serve you". Called in three different times and waited approx 2 minutes each before hanging up and retry. All I wanted is to get transferred to automotive to see if a car battery was in stock. Bought one somewhere else.

The Meijer stores I remember from my childhood always seemed grander and nicer than the Meijer stores I visit now. However, Grand Haven Meijer has held up reasonably well and the staff are friendly. And the customers, as I found out, are more than happy to recommend products for sale; especially the beer, wine and spirits!

Ready for space age checkout that Walmart FINALLY got?? Well guess what Meijer has been ahead of the curve for decades.I never thought I would find myself shopping here but this is my absolute preference! Prices are great and the environment is friendly! My wife just started using shipt and we love it!

Great place to shop great workers very customer-oriented products are easy to find and a wide variety of just about anything you need for anything in Michigan one of my favorite places to shop great sale prices I would recommend this story to anyone

Not to bad of a Meijer. I even of the bigger stores but it always seems as though the shelves are half.empty and never stocked. I dont know if they need more people or better organization but you cant really.count on them having what you need.

Good selection of items...clothing, toys, household goods, groceries, deli, and all gas in one stop. Also has in-house Starbucks. Clean and bright (well lit) store. Aisles are wide and uncramped Staff is usually friendly and helpful.

This Meijer usually has a great selection of diverse foods. They even have a small selection of vegan choices. However, come early in the week if you want to take advantage of sale items! They dont seem to restock later in the week.

Best supermarket in the greater Grand Rapids area. Only conplaint is that shelfs are often unstocked and I have found my self having to call for someone to grab my items. It usually takes longer than expected around 5-20 minutes

When you need a general household item of most any kind, most always it can be found at Meijers! We needed 4 items for a get together and were in and out within 10 minutes; with items required. A great place to browse too.

Its a place to get groceries and thats about it. A lot of the employees you can tell dont want to be there and are not willing to help out the customers. Lets just say they dont put on a friendly face when you are there.

We actually only stopped at their gas station, however the station was nice and clean and very busy with people going in and out of the building as well. Wish they kept gas stations this clean and bright back home.

Love meijer and love shopping with them...been to different meijer from Michigan to Kentucky and the older the employees are the better service you get...some you get great service with all ages but not always.

I went to buy a 24 pack of beers,so I was ready to pay my 24 and they ask me for my ID,so I gave to them and they told me that WE CANT SELL IT TO YOU BECAUSE WE DONT KNOW IF YOUR ID IS REAL .......THATS BUSHIT

it was very complicated store view but then again i am thee worst shopper in the world. But the staff were very helpful and very kind and they have lots of good product so i must say i loved it

This store is clean and organized. For the employees they been nice and willing to help you find things that you are not able to find right away. Plus they are better than the Holland Stores.

Friendly people and reasonable prices. We just got rid of our Sams Club membership because we can do just about as well here. Way better than Walmart where you feel totally on your own.

Our Grand Haven store is my favorite Meijer. Its always clean and staff are kind. If I need help locating an item the employees dont seem bothered that I interrupted their task.
