This is the worst Home Depot you can ever imagine. If youre not from Detroit, just understand, this Home Depot IS everything youve heard about Detroit (which often isnt true, but is here. You WILL be approached and bothered on the way in AND out by people trying to sell you crap. Perfume, stolen speakers, candy, incense, old gift cards, all of it. Say no? Theyll chase you to your car and insist. And the store manager does nothing about it. I guess (s)hes cool with a Turkish Bazaar at the entrances. The store employees dont give a ****, period! If you go there looking for something their system shows less than 5 of, theyll tell you they "dont know where it would be", and walk away. If its REALLY important to you; leave those idiots alone and find it yourself. Its there in the overhead; youll find it if youve got an hour or two to spare. Once you do, dont bother asking anyone to get it down for you. Just find one of those rolling orange ladders, roll it through the wasteland of cardboard, paper and shrink-wrap on the floor, and climb up and get it yourself. They wont stop you. Ive found plumbing cameras in garden; air conditioners in flooring; hammer drills in appliances; ALL of which they had just gotten really crappy with me and told me "I work here; you dont. The computer is always wrong. Im telling you WE DONT HAVE ANY MORE". No, the computer isnt wrong; the person who doesnt give half a **** is wrong. The store Manager whos in charge of this DISASTER is wrong. My receipt keeps a running total of what Ive bought for the year at the bottom. Its July, and Ive personally spent $59,655.73 already (contractor). Can you imagine a local hardware store treating someone who buys that much so poorly? DRIVE THE EXTRA FEW MILES TO 75 & 12 MILE, OR 8 MILE & KELLY..... AVOID THIS WASTELAND.

I really dont like going to Home Depot because its so hard to find what in looking for. Whenever I ask an associate, they usually just point me in a general direction. However, upon my last visit, an associate named Will didnt know where to find the item I was looking for. So he went an asked another associate, so pointed is in a general direction. Will went and looked down one Lane and I went down another. He stayed until I found it. I appreciated it an thanked him. They should have him training the test of the staff.

Humiliating and disappointing...A HD male employee hit me with a shopping cart as I sat on the amigo and called me lazy for riding on the cart. I am a disabled female, not visible from the outside. Its one thing to ride around the store searching for an employee for assistance or not receiving my home delivery order because the employee forgot a step but exsperiencing intimidation from a staff desperately in need of a bath break and deorderant...wow

This a good place to shop for your house and for stuff that your building it has basically every thing tools, counters ,doors ,wood everything I loved my experience there if your moving they have boxes if your redoing your kitchen they have sinks , counter ,lights and may more wow I loved it, i absolutely loved it its great if you building basically anything so I give home depot a thumbs up

Worst home depot Ive ever been too. Dirty bathrooms and staff totally ignores me. Including management. Staff is mostly black, and Im white so doesnt take a genius to figure out why I receive such poor service. They dont even say hi. Not your typical home depot welcoming. The only reason I even come here is because its the only one near me! Stay away if u can!!!

The staff is always friendly and ready to point me in the right direction to find merchandise. I went today looking for an ecobee3 thermostat. I didnt see it. The employee was willing to scan the boxes for me to find it. Good job to him. Im only giving 4 stars because they didnt have even though the website said they did.

The people that were very helpful and knowledgeable the store I went to was out of the material I was looking for and they found another home depot with the material and had the material put on hold for me I was able to get my job done at a reasonable time thanks to the store manager at a home depot in detroit

I recently placed an order online for in-store pickup at this HD on Meyers Road. It was cancelled the next day with no correspondence and no reason given. To add insult to injury, the gift card I used to pay wasnt even refunded. I had to call corporate customer support to get it worked out. Avoid this place.

The worse home depot that I have ever been to! The staff has no knowledge of where to find items and when existing you have to show your receipt and open your bag to show the security guard that whats in your bag matches your receipt, guilt until proven innocent! Never again!

Big store, staff is pretty knowledgeable. If there is problem with the merchandise they seem to work with you. Its a Home Depot thats in the city, and its where the need is as opposed to suburban stores not nearly as busy. A store where its needed...makes sense.

Home improvement is the thing. Anything from floor to roof, inside and out Ive found they had at this location. Also, dont forget to grab yourself a delicious hot dog, polish sausage ot beef on your way out. They have the best chicken sausage in town too!

Always understaffed. Shelves get restocked slowly and are often in disarray. If you need help determining what you need, go elsewhere. Otherwise, this is my favorite "in-and-out" stop on almost a weekly, if not daily basis. Home Depot + Google = DIY Heaven.

I would never ever in my life shop here customer service is horrible they can deny returns even if you have a receipt never in a million years I have heard of this all I have to say they dont treat you like this in the suburbs only in Detroit

Very helpful crew especially Cashiers (Teri) and guys stocking the aisles. The strong men there had no problems helping me pack all of the heavy gardening items that I purchased. Cant wait to come back! Keep up the great customers service!

Place makes you feel like a criminal. No one seems to know how to speak to anyone. Even The guy selling the hot dogs says "whats up" instead of just how are you, or hi, what can i get for you today? I hate that this is the only one here.

Love this store, I travel all across metro detroit as a sub contractor, this is my store. The associates and managers do a great job with all the traffic an personalities of a big city. Thank all you guys/gals for serving the "D"!!!!

A zero for customer service waited forever for an associate to show up to help me find an item, but four of the workers are checking reciepts at the front door. Everything is in the wrong box. Please hire more workers home depot

Worse service ever. Waited to be help for over 2hrs!!!!!!!!! Two women who worked there, tried there best to find someone to assist me. They even called management. I wouldnt recommend shopping here ever in my LIFE!!!!!!!!!¿
