CREDIT CARD NIGHTMARE!! Not doing business with home depot from now on. I was going in for 1 item and to apply for one Commercial Account. Out in 30 min right? Nope yesterday this took 2 hrs. Only one older gentleman (was a nice guy) was able to apply for commercial account. He fought the computer and the computer won. After multiple attempts I eventually just called corporate in order to finish application. I had to plead with the rep to submit the application without my business tax ID. They only did it once I told them I am just using my other business credit card. Turns out after I hung up with them and printed the slip it was even the wrong account after, I mentioned the the gentleman that I wanted the COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT vs. Revolving Charge Card. Buy the time I printed the slip and went to go reapply he had left and apparently was the only person out of the 50+ employees there that could set me up with a credit card and also didnt have anyone who was looking over plumbing. No big deal I just call corp back and get the account changed over or apply over the phone. NOPE. They would not, rep told me to apply online because of security reasons. I cancelled all accounts and walked out. I have never cancelled a credit card.

Avery in the Garden Department at the Shelby Township Home Depot deserves an award for "EXCEPTIONAL" Customer Service!!! Avery was in the middle of completing a task of pushing a huge, heavy green barrel when she was kind enough to ask me how I was. I replied: "Frustrated" Avery stopped in her tracks and asked: "What can I help You with? " I replied: "Posts for a fence. I think they are behind some pallets and up on a shelf; but I cant get to them." Avery went over to the chicken wire fencing and attempted to move the pallets...what a doll!! I had seen the employee that I originally asked about the fencing and asked him if he could move these pallets for us. Oh boy, reluctantly he moved the three pallets. I told him that if it wasnt for us customers, he wouldnt have a job. He didnt like that and told me he was already helping another customer. Sure! Avery found my posts!! Thank you Avery for saving the day for me!! There are lots of places to shop. If I am going to take the time to shop in a store instead of on line, please be courteous and kind store employees!

Dont order carpet from Home Depot. It took almost a year for us to resolve problems because of the installers. They cut our carpet in little places all over and long cuts. We had it replaced twice and it needed replaced a third time. We had around 16 people coming and going in our home during this time inspecting our carpet. Finally we settled getting some of our money back. They are still using the same installers. They got the better end of this deal. No money for all of our trouble and we have to replace it yet again. Well be lucky to have enough money to replace it with comparable carpet. What a nightmare!

This is by far the best home improvement store location I have ever been too. Staff is extremely knowledgeable with the items in their department and can walk you through exactly how to install it (for the dyier). Store has a big selection of product and I think this is the largest HD in the area. Prices are competitive to Lowes but more expensive than a Menards (but much better quality). The tool rental center is a great addition to this store and the rental prices are fairly low. Overall, this is the location to go to for anything related to your home.

How convene and the middle of a crisis of a power outage your store runs out of generators. You have people sitting in the store for your truck to come in with some yet youre only sending $600 ones and up. I dont know many people that can afford that type of generator including myself very very poor customer service obviously trying to make a quick buck and not put your customers truly first and think about their income

A simple fuel line clamp....spring clamp.....asked 4 different employees who never saw one and had no idea where they would be if they had any. We checked the obvious places....small engine repair.....tubing repair....underground sprinklers.....had to settle for a worm clamp. A good hardware store carries these.....mine did.

Ive been to many Home Depots, and by far this one is the place to go if your not sure how to explain what your looking for a staff member will get on their computer or their cell phone, yes their own cell phone to help you find what exactly your looking for,This place ROCKS

Was looking for some home light bulbs. Maria G indept 27 store 2758 was very helpful and knowledgeable about her product. Never new there was so much to choose from in home light bulbs. I would difinatly seek her out if I ever have anymore questions.

Purchased a hot water tank and a new toilette last fall with instillation . Very poor job was done. Did not clean up after job, poor caulking and when I went to turn on the humidifier the water line was not reconnected.

Ive never had to deal with a rude employee and theyve all been helpful with any project Ive had. Home Depot has competitive prices with everyone else. The products are good quality as well.
