If I could rate it negative 5 I would. I got a Sentry Safe for a gift, it was 2 day shipping delivery to my house. The delivery and the process was fine. I wanted a digital keypad safe, I got a dial lock, no biggie right? WRONG. I went to the Staples in Caledonia, Michigan. The dude that originally helped me was totally cool, brought the dolly out the my truck, friendly, talkative etc.. I had all my paperwork, invoice, all contents that originally came with, except the box. Apparently theres the problem, I received the safe December 7th, and today is December 10th. Well the conversation with a manager started off bad from the get go, some little punk ass kid, with a holier than thou attitude because he was a manager at Staples. I politely asked for an exception, no deals, started explaining policy to me, he said right thon the paper work it says you need all the packaging. I had explained the box was slightly damaged upon delivery, and it was a gift. Well after some B.S. Talk out of his mouth, I said, " show me where on my paperwork, invoice, etc where it says this?" He then goes to the cash register and pulls some receipt paper and holds it up and says "SEE!" So I asked, Im now highly irritated for his GM, hes not there until Sunday. So I left the safe at the store, took my paperwork and left. It even says that you can do in store returns for online ordering. I just wanted to get a different safe, The had one I wanted for $10.00 less, I was informed that they cant sell the safe without a box. I didnt want to have to go through the hassle of waiting 20 days by the time a courier service picks up the safe, then gets credited back in the original form, then I have to ask the purchaser to re buy the gift, just a friken hassle. I will NEVER buy from Staples EVER! And I will be filing a complaint with corporate.

Visited this store three times in the last couple months for items I needed and EVERY TIME they (and all of the GR stores for that matter) were out of stock. Whats worse is Im more than willing to pay their premium (which is 30% or more often times in comparison to Amazon) so I can have the item right away, but if I have to wait two days for shipping AND spend 30% more it doesnt make sense... I want to love you Staples, but if you cant stock desks, chairs, and office supplies at all times, whats the point? I know I wont be back...

I will not go there again for book binding or any service through their copy/print center. They messed up my order the first time. I had to waste time to go back. They were not helpful to me or offered anything due to their mistakes. Also, I was told they had teacher discounts, but then they didnt honor it or want to make it right. HORRIBLE. Very upset this happened. I will not chose to go back!

The Geek Techs are top notch, they know what thy are doing and are very helpful, And the Managers and employees know where to find stuff fast or will get it for you. very helpful. thy will go above and beyond what is expected. I will return because of outstanding service, kindness and knowledge.
