I understand that most people have rated this particular discount tire a high rating, because a 4.8 rating is exceptionally high. My experience was very different. Let me walk you through my experience. I go in on Monday 11/21 to get a quote for winter wheels and tires. I go back on Tuesday 11/22 and I order them. At that time, I am told that the wheels are in stock and they will be held, but the tires need to be ordered, and it will only be a few days. i tell them thats fine, I can come back on Monday, 11/28 to install, no rush. They said they will call me when they get them in. I go in on Monday to just get an update because no one called me.......to my surprise, the salesman tells me "We have the tires in but we dont have the wheels in." Ummmm WHAT??? You sold MY wheels that I specifically placed an order for???? Yes, thats what they did, so they had to order the wheels again. Fast forward to Friday, 12/2, I get a call saying that my wheels and tires are both in and they are ready to be installed on my car. I tell the salesman "I will come in on Monday, 12/5 to have them installed, please make sure that the tires are mounted on the new wheels and ready to go so it makes my visit quicker. Set up an appointment for me at 1;30pm" Salesman tells me "I already had the guys mount the tires on the wheels, they are ready to go" Im thinking great, Ill go get them Monday. I go in Monday for my appointment and the salesman tells me "We have your tires but we dont have the wheels" ME: WHATTTTT?????? You sold them out from under me a SECOND time? He goes to check the back, and cant find the wheels. I tell him go check again. He finds the wheels, but the tires arent mounted. (remember back to Friday when I was told they were mounted) I point to the salesman that told me they were mounted and said "He told me they were mounted already"..........RADIO SILENCE ensues. ME: Please mount my tires on those wheels, and I will come back tomorrow and pick up the wheels and tires and install them myself. They told me it would take an HOUR to put the new wheels on. ONE HOUR to jack a car up and swap four wheels? 12/6: I picked up my wheels with new tires mounted on them and installed them myself in my own driveway in a half hour. TWO WEEKS to buy wheels and tires???? RUFKM? Never again! I will likely be sending Discount Tire an invoice for wheel installation since I had to resort to installing them myself due to the lack of trust I have in the team at this location.

First off, Id like to thank Darin Labette for his keen eye of quality and attention to details. Heres my story... In around October of 2012 I purchased (2) 15" rim sized Falken Rocky All Terrain tires from a Discount Tire in Nashville TN. I couldnt afford 4 so I purchased 2. Then they put the new ones on the rear and the best of my old bald tires up front. Great service as usual. Fast forward to Nov 2013.... I called around for the best prices to get my final 2 tires. I used my original receipt from D.T. with the exact model numbers and asked around. Not only did this location have THEE best deal in town, Darin beat my originally costs from the Nashville D.T. I went to! NOW this story gets better.... Upon my arrival, Darin noticed that someone accidently put the Falken Ziex model tires on my truck, not the Falken Rockys I originally purchased. He said this was a rare odd situation but an honest mistake. The Falken name and their model numbers on both tires are very similar! Since this was a D.T. mistake from another state, he corrected it by replacing them for the correct tires at no cost. I drove almost 40,000 miles on the wrong ones! I purchased the final 2 at the negotiated price and I now have a complete NEW set for these crazy michigan white slip & slide winter months. Thank you again Darin. After being unemployed for almost a year and just starting my third week at my new job up here in the "D" I TRULY needed this. Snows a coming and Ive got a 45 minute commute each way to work. Again thank you, your 5 star mechanics and Discount Tire for living up to the name on the front of their stores. I have been to many tire stores in the last 10 years, and NEVER have I had such a good experience as I did when I went to Discount Tire in Brighton, MI (6850 Whitmore Lake rd). I pulled into the parking lot, and before I could even get out of my car, the manager (I believe his name was Young) and an associate were waiting outside my door. I was greeted with a handshake, and in my opinion, not enough companies do this. I explained to the manager my problem, popped the trunk, and the associate grabbed the tire and bolted towards the garage. The manager and I walked inside, filled out some information, and completed the purchase. When I turned around, the associate was waiting outside my car with my repaired tire. He put the tire in my trunk, said have a nice day, and I left discount tire. My total time spent there was about 5 minutes, and I didn’t even have an appointment! I’ve never been so satisfied with a company’s customer service in my life. This level of commitment to customer service needs to be recognized and rewarded. I will never shop anywhere else for tires because of this experience. Thank you.

Unquestionably the most efficient and pleasant tire change experience I have ever had. The customer service was excellent and a model of what it should be in their line of service. There was no pressure from a staff trying to push unnecessary work or service on you that you have already declined. They did their job proper by offering, but after I declined the work and an explanation, they did not proceed to go on trying to sell me on it. This is my place now.

I cant say enough on how much I love the service that we have received at Discount tire. I learned my lesson and took my car to another place just once in 20 years, and it was an awful mistake. Chris the assistant manager is helpful, courteous, thoughtful and skilled in knowledge of cars. Thank you so much for always taking care of my cars and my families.

Good team at this location, so expect it to be busy most days. You can always call ahead and theyre honest with how long the wait time is for anything you need. Theyre not there to sell you what you dont need. They help take care of your tires until the end of life. Ill definitely go to this location when I am in need of a new set.

I wont take my work trucks or trailers anywhere else anymore. Theres a lot to be said for a place that will offer a firm handshake and an honest experience. Ive never had to wait unnecessarily, and Ive always had excellent customer service here. Theyre a big chain, but they act like a small shop. Highly recommended.
