I WENT TO DISCOUNT TIRE BECAUSE MY TIRE KEPT GOING FLAT. WE THOUGHT IT WAS JUST THE VALVE STEM ( ESPECIALLY BC YOU COULD HEAR THE AIR HISSING OUT OF THAT AREA ) SO AFTER WAITING ABOUT A HALF HOUR BECAUSE OF COURSE THERE IS ONLY ONE SERVICE GUY FOR PHONES AND PEOPLE IN THE STORE. BILL WALKS US OUTSIDE AND LOOKS AT THE TIRE. HE SAYS YOU HAVE A BULGE RIGHT HERE ( UNDER THE VALVE STEM ) YOU NEED A WHOLE NEW TIRE. THEN HE STATES LOOKING AT MY OTHER TIRES AND FIRST SAYS THEY NEED TO ALL BE REPLACED I SAID NO I JUST GOT THESE TIRES NOT EVEN 6 MONTHS AGO. HE SAID WELL THEY NEED TO BE ROTATED. I SAID NO THEY DONT, I HAD MY CAR FIXED A FEW WEEKS AGO THEY DID A ROTATION FOR ME AS A FAVOR. I SAID IM ONLY INTERESTED IN FIXING THE ONE TIRE THATS IT!!! WE WENT BACK INSIDE AND HE LOOKS EVERYTHING UP SAYS THEY DONT CARRY MY TIRE IN THE STORE SO THEY WILL HAVE TO ORDER IT. I SAID OK AND HE TOLD ME THE TIRE WOULD BE $153.33. I THOUGHT THAT WAS A BIT MUCH BUT I NEEDED THE TIRE FIX ASAP SO THAT I COULD GET BACK AND FORTH TO WORK. HE TELLS ME I CAN PICK MY CAR UP THE NEXT DAY (TUESDAY) AT 3. I SAID I WONT BE HERE TILL 5ISH BUT THEN TOLD HIM ACTUALLY NO I WILL BE ABLE TO BE HERE BY 4 HE SAID OK IT WILL BE DONE. SO TUESDAY COMES AND I GET THEY AT 415 I DIDNT GET TO THE COUNTER TILL 4:50 BECAUSE AGAIN THERE IS ONE GUY FOR PHONES BLOWING UP AND A LINE OF CUSTOMERS. COME TO FIND OUT THE GREAT BILL NEVER ORDERED MY TIRE AND IT WAS NOT DONE. I ASKED FOR A REFUND AND MY KEYS AND LEFT. I TOOK MY CAR SOMEWHERE ELES AND NOT ONLY WAS MY CAR DONE IN ONE DAY BUT COME TO FIND OUT ALL I NEEDED WAS A VALVE STEM AND ALL MY OTHER TIRES ARE FINE. THE TECH THAT WORKED ON MY CAR KNOWS THE WHOLE STORY FROM DISCOUNT AND SAID "I HONESTLY CANT BELIEVE THE LEVEL OF DISHONESTY, YOUR TIRE IS COMPLETELY FINE. WE CHECKED EVERYTHING AND THERE WAS NO BULGE OR BRAKE" I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO DISCOUNT TIRE EVER AGAIN, AND HOW TERRIBLE THEY LET THOSE GUYS WORK BY THEMSELVES AT THE COUNTER LIKE THAT.

Made an appointment to have my winter tires put on. When i got to the store the gentleman helping me acted annoyed and informed me that they usually dont make same day appointments, nevermind the fact that i made the appointment on Discounts webpage. I then asked about my tire pressure sensor light being on. He literally ignored me. I then asked specifically to have the sensors repaired/replaced, which he charged me for. I then overheard (while standing at the counter) the person helping me say he hoped the guys out in the garage hurried, so he could go home. When i picked up the vehicle, the pressure light was still on, I didnt even bother to follow up after the way the guy treated me. I have been to a few Discount Tires and they have been great. This one is terrible. I recommend steering clear. Only reason for 2 stars are the people working in the garage seemed to be working hard.

Went to get my tires rotated and after a 4 hour wait I asked when my car would be done because I could see it was still sitting in the parking lot not being worked on, the guy told me there were a few cars ahead of mine and it would be another hour. I immediately asked for my keys and left because I had been told it would only be 2 and a half hours when I first got there, I also noticed that numerous people who got there after me were taken care of first while I was passed over and made to wait even longer and longer. I will not be going back there ever again because of how I was treated.

Set up an appointment to get my tires changed before Christmas, had everything ready online. Went in today, they didnt have my tires, and they tried to sell me more expensive ones for twice the price. I couldnt afford it, so they said the best they could do is next week, after I had already set up the appointment online for those specific tires. This is the last time I visit any discount tire, and I will be telling anyone who wants a tire change to avoid at all costs any of these stores.

Ordered wheels and they forgot to call and tell me they were in. Jeff took care of things was very professional and courtious. Went back the next day for my appointment and dealt with Andrew. Very grumpy and no personality. It was like I called him in on his day off. Many tire places price match and had I not had Jeff help me out before I would not return as it was painful to work with Andrew. He needs to be out back with tires not upfront with people...

extremely disappointed with this company. My family has always used discount tire, my grandparents, parents, myself and my husband. The store in Howell, knows my husband and I and recently had a sign up that they needed help. My husband applied and was told point blank by the store manager that because he had an old felony he would not be hired. Apparently this company practices discrimination. Will not be returning.

I went there about two weeks ago and they broke two of my center caps, yes they were old I understand but they could have mentioned to me that they brok them but never did. Then 2 days later I notice one of my lug nuts are missing, they did give me any extra one so Im assuming that is the missing one. This is another incident were they did not mention anything to me about it not getting put on.

Hate the wait. Great tires and prices, quality work, but dont bother making an appointment. 3 times Ive taken cars/trucks here for full sets of new rubber, and all 3 times Ive had to wait an hour before my vehicle was even in a bay. That, and the tire disposal fees are outrageous. Feels like a Seinfeld episode..... "Thats the point of making a reservation!"

Worst service. Took over 1.5 hours to get a tire patched even with an appointment. Witnessed workers being extremely rude to customers coming in the door looking for air in their tires and getting turned away. The South Lyon store has always been great to deal with, but this is the last time I will deal with the Howell store. Not even worth one star.

My wife took in her car to get the tires balanced and rotated. They told her they cannot do that because the tires were "so bad". She told them the tires were only a little over a year old and they tried convincing her they were the original tires. Seeing as they are a completely different brand, this was a terrible and obvious lie.

Broke 1 rear stud. Beat wheels off truck and messed up 1 wheel bearing in the process. Took rotor off and the back of the wheel stud they broke was left to fall out and damage parking break and bolts that hold rear hub on... after a few emails and phone calls completely rectified the situation..
