The day shift service is actually really good. Its the late night shifts that could use a whole lot of work. Because I often close at my job across the street (get out between 11:30 and midnight), Meijer is the easiest place for me to do my shopping. I have found, however, that employees (and presumably managers) have little care for consumers. For instance, I once saw an employee hit a womans car with shopping carts. When confronted the employee responded to the woman rather rudely, stating that he didnt care and his managers wouldnt either. I find this to be true as he still works there. As far as personal experience goes, I was once sold a product (ps4 controller) that was used (sold as new) and covered in sticky gunk. When I attempted to exchange it, I was told by a couple of employees that they were out of stock, when an hour previous they had about 6 of each color. I was given a refund and when I returned to the games section, sure enough, there was just as much product as before. The next thing is more of computer and company error than employee. After work, I decided to do some quick shopping. It took me about 5 minutes to grab my stuff, but about 10 to check out. Every self checkout computer was experiencing issues, and we (the guests in checkout) were informed that only two of the night shift employees were able to run register, which led to a massive (by late night standards) backup. It will still be my store of choice for late night shopping, out of convenience, but it certainly needs some work (perhaps training from the Meijer off of Beckly because their late shift service is on point).

I went to meijers three days in a row and was craving donuts, when I walked over to where the donuts were, I am amazed to see flies and nats flying around on the donuts. It happen three days in a row, all three times I was met with bugs flying around on the donuts. How come there were bugs? How come the employees at Meijers arent doing their jobs and making sure the case is closed and that it gets checked often, or is that not in their job description? VERY DISAPPOINTING to know that is the product that is being sold and how poorly the up keep of the store is :(

I love this Meijer store. It has a wonderful variety of food, including organic which is hard to find. The employees are always willing to help, especially the cashiers. What store actually asks you everytime if u found everything? Not many but they do. My overall experience is always pleasant and being there turns a horrible choir pleasant and tolerable. The meijer store by the mall could learn something from the wonderful employees and management here. Service desk is always friendly and efficient.

Marketing scheme is great if you arent disabled. Putting the milk and frozen food in the middle of the store and grocery items on the southern corner in the back of the store we have to walk in a circle and more to get a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk and if you are in need of toothpaste or hygiene items or even prescriptions you then have to practically walk past and through everything in the store. Handicapped carts are always broken down in some manner and jerk when starting or stopping.

I found some groceries there that are different from what I see in the other Meijer in the area. That was great news to me because I like to try different products. I also like that I was able to find more non-GMO products that I enjoy but had to travel to a different city to find them. The store layout is odd, which makes it challenging for a first time buyer to find the frozen foods and dairy section because it is separated from the meats area by several aisles of household merchandise.

Love this store. I go here 90% of the time for shopping. Great deals and coupons. Gotta love mperks. The staff is friendly and warm. The manager was helpful when we had an issue. The only bad time is the holidays. I know they cant train them as much as others, but one of the holiday workers told me to go ask someone else when I asked her a question. Ive worked in retail and thats poor customer service. Usually staff is great and most ask how youre doing or at least give a smile.

I come here 3-5 times a month! Great atmosphere, it takes you back to the simpler times of a barber shop. A place for the community, a place to sharpen up and engage. Lee is awesome and respectable. Takes good care of veterans and prices are moderately good! I recommend you get a haircut here if you are in Kalamazoo, but make sure you book and appointment. This man here is the real deal and he gets booked quick!!!

I shop early AM because I am up , but Meijer only has self check-outs that early I just got done with my all night job now I get to do yours, machine messes up every time if you have more than a couple items, had to wait for store employee three times , left pissed again - it will be a year before I go back again - live and learn App made me give one star I would not give any

There are two Meijer stores in the city where I shop. Though this one is the smaller of the two I prefer that because it is difficult for me to walk and this requires less walking yet offers everything that I could ever possibly want to shop for. The only downside is when they have sales they are often out of things on sale.

Very clean store and always something I need on sale. The perks card is a great money saver. The thing I like best is... You can only enter and exit the store one way. You cant exit through the entrance or enter through the exit unlike other stores where people come and go as they please.

Used to be a stocking issue here, now its getting a little better but you still need to get there early. Sale shelves often empty or close and the layout of items in every aisle constantly changes. But its not Walmart and its close to my house. So they win.

The first time visiting this location. I dropped off a prescription. One of them is hard to fill at my normal pharmacy. This location was able to fill this the same day. The counter attendant was polite and attentive. Recommend this pharmacy highly.

Swiped card at the pump, got $10 in gas, charged my card $70 (2x$35). didnt even get charged the $10 amount .... Wait on hold for over an hour and a half and they never answer the phone again. Ill never do business here again. NEVER.

This is the only grocery store that we boycotted - ever. Why? It all comes from the top, right down to the floor employees. They undervalue their consumers and it shows. Customer satisfaction is not on the top of their lists.

Its ok, not as good as the meijer on Beckley or the ones in kalamazoo, and the mperks is a total rip off,, its like click bait for meijer, they tease u about getting discounts, but u rarely do if u get any at all
