WOULD LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!!!!!! Was on a budget, went to the clearance center (of course, met at the door by a sales person "Home Furnishings Consultant" *eye roll*. The sales person was very nice and understood I had a budget. Found a floor model love seat which could be sold separately from the matching couch, but the sales person had to check with the Clearance Center Manager (wish I knew his name!) Sales person came back with a price that fit the budget and asked if Id be picking the loveseat up and if not, the delivery fee would be $129.00! The reason its so expensive?! Apparently, they dont deliver directly from the store?! They have to package the couch up very carefully, ship it to their warehouse in Detroit, then have it delivered BACK to Battle Creek!!!!!! Not wanting to really get the truck and pick it up myself, I said Id do the delivery. Before finalizing the couch and delivery, I decided to look at some pictures that were on sale down a long hallway right off the clearance area. While Im down the hall I hear the manager talking with the salesperson and another employee. The manager confirms with the salesperson that Im buying the couch and the shipping.....salesperson says yes....manager says: "I should have charged her more"! REALLY?! I walked out from the hallway and acted like I didnt hear him. Went with the salesperson to finalize the purchase and when asked if I wanted one of the pictures, I said no, because there was a cut in the one I was looking at. Salesperson says that we could ask if manager would discount it. I told her no. I told her I heard what the manager said. I told her I would be picking the couch up myself. I WILL NEVER GO TO ART VAN AGAIN.

If I could give a negative rating I would!!! My parents bought a couch on June 6th and was told it would be delivered the middle of June. Today is June 21 and they have yet to get their couch. Was told that it would be delivered the end of July since it was out of stock and needed to be built and then shipped to Detroit to be shipped to Battle Creek then delivered to my parents home. Found all this out after my mom called wanting to know when it would be delivered so they were home. After dealing with VERY RUDE staff in both Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, It will be delivered on Saturday the 25th because I told them to deliver the show room model as it was a brand new one. I have the assurance of Jimmy the Battle Creek manager that it is in good/excellent condition, and that the $99 delivery fee will be removed from the cost. I will NEVER buy anything more from an Art Van store. I want to know why if the couch was out of stock, my parents werent notified? In my time talking with Jimmy I heard 3 different stories of what happened and only one matched my moms.. But for right now they are getting their couch and if not in good condition, Youll hear from me again.

Went to ArtVan to buy a New Bed Frame as mine broke, thouroly explained my bed(I bought it from them) she said she knew exactly what I needed, waited a day as it was not in stock went and picked it up and it is the wrong frame. I had to remove my foot board and my headboard is not secured as this is the wrong frame PERIOD Im laying on the ground in a bed that was designed to sit at least 2 or more feet off the floor(I had to jump in). Called the store and asked to speak to a manager, get hung up on he calls back and has the most nasty attitude in the world, says bring it back and I said why would she tell me she knew what I needed and sell me something that was wrong his answer was I cant tell you why people do what they do! Are you serious? Never ever going to purchase another thing from them. Your mistake why should I have to bring it back they should of came and got it!!! Terrible just terrible I only gave them 1 star because I could not give them none

Worst experience ever ! Will never return here! First, got the furniture home & it was the wrong color. We had to haul it back to the Battle Creek location. They offered free delivery & neglected to tell me what time they would be dropping the furniture off. Once we agreed on a set time they failed to show up. We once again called & was put through to multiple people just to tell us we would have to wait. I paid my furniture in full & still have nothing to show for it. When I tried to call and complain about our experience there was no way to file a complaint. Do not buy from here! Because if you have a problem it will never get resolved. Still waiting on our furniture !!!!

I bought a table the sales lady was nice but over charged me for leather protection that I had clearly stated that I did not want. I caught the mistake and they refunded me the $90. I ordered the table the second week in February being promised that it will be in early March, fine i call they tell me it is now mid March, now its late March. Will never purchase from here again. I heard other stories so I should have known better.... go out of town for furniture just make sure its not Art Van.

Absolutely horrible. Never buying from here again. First couch the recliner broke within a few months tried to get it fixed and that took over a year to finally get them to do it then purshaced another couch and it came with a huge tear in it and they will only fix it under our warranty not sure how long that will take. Very high priced and very poor quality.

In july bought a sofa and love seat and recliner bought the warranty i asked before i cought it if it covered animals chewing on the furniture because we were getting a puppy and the girl ahnna told me it did and i found out it didnt it dont even cover wear and tear only manufacturer defects and spot cleaning

When I received my couch there was large rips on the back right side causing the arm to become loose and on its way to coming off. It was taken back and I then received a call saying my couch was no longer in stock and Id have to wait another month for re delivery. Im not happy at all!

We ordered a 2 piece sectional and only gave us half. We got a loveseat for our other half. They dont know where our other piece is and wont be able to get our other half for a wk! Absolutely ridiculous! Make sure orders are correct
