I called to order a gift basket for my son who is deployed in Afghanistan. The young lady who answered the phone was so polite and helpful. I custom designed my basket to all the things that I knew my son would love. I received a receipt in my email the very next day showing my gift basket had already shipped...Wow!! My son received his basket and sent me a message to say that the basket was awesome! The presentation was great and that the jerky and salami sticks were the best that hes ever had. And so agreed by all the soldiers and that hes sharing with. Thank you Country Smoke House for making my purchase so care free and fast. And thank you for making a basket that brought so much delight to those serving our country overseas. I will definitely be ordering again! God Bless and Merry Christmas!

I held a grad party for my daughter at my house yesterday. Everybody raved about the food and I thought it was delicious! And, my crowd is particular about food. The staff at Country Smoke House is great too. When you call them, they are available. No phone tag! They were very helpful too. They had plenty of good suggestions about how much food to order. I also appreciated the disposable chafing dishes which worked well to keep our food warm and safe. Nice job Country Smoke House! Now lots of other people know your name!

Ive loved this place for years and always looked forward to visiting when I was in town. Unfortunately, on my last visit I purchased several packs of snack sticks and when I returned home realized they all had MSG, which is a common cause of migraines, very unhealthy, and a very unnecessary ingredient. I tried eating them anyway and just got a migraine. I gave some away to friends, but saying hey this gives me a migraine, do you want to eat it? didnt go over well. Too bad I will not be shopping here in the future.

Im not sure what was better, the wet taco or the wet pulled pork or the naked hillbilly screaming from across the road. I will have to give my hats off to the sauce that I can only decribe as "ketchup-ranch" on the pulled pork tacos.. now I will give them that the meat tasted good but it tasted like a home cook thats was trying to be fancy like putting wipe cream on your fago and Im sure the hillbilly people will love this place but if your a foodie save your self the drive.

When I visit home I ALWAYS stop at Country Smoke House for BBQ supplies, Canadian bacon for family breakfast, venison jalapeno & cheese snack sticks for road trips and the elk cherry salami is a must. All my California friends say i cannot return without some elk cherry salami for them. The facility is very clean, the products are fresh, staff friendly and just South of I 69. A large bovine greets you roadside to let you know you are in the right place.

I stop here every time Im headed up the thumb. Great selection of products in the store including fresh meats. Everything you could want smoked, they have smoked. Maple bacon is fantastic. Best of all, outdoor BBQ on the weekends. Only complaint is the pricetag on some of the items. 12 bucks for a package of smoked meat sticks is a bit high, but they are very good. Favorite is the Cherry Jalepeno Cheddar Venison Sticks. YUM!

We made the trip today (from Whitmore Lake) and had a wonderful beef brisket sandwich outside in the beautiful fall weather. In the store we purchased a smoked chicken, smoked turkey and some kielbasa, all at a good price. This is definitely a butcher shop meat store with a huge meat counter and good prices. We will definitely be back soon.....

love the bar-b-q house, the Big Bertha is the best sandwich in our opinion, we cant wait for it to open each year. we try to make every weekend in the good weather. and have been known to sit out side and have our sandwich even bundled in winter gear.

My family has been buying meat and cheese here for years, and to this day will drive out of our way to pick up more. The food is spectacular, service is great, and have never once had a bad cut. The only downside is that it can get a little busy.

The meats and cheeses here are fantastic. Theres so much to choose from its hard to decide on what to get. Their handmade burgers with cheddar and bacon alone make it worth a trip there! If you havent tried their meat rubs, youre missing out!

Turkey legs really good. And my dogs love pig ears. But bought a whole smoked Turkey breast so much salt had to though away not even homeless people would eat! Better off doing it yourself. So disappointed. $$$$$$

Save your money. I bought some of this Big Country Smokehouse Jerky while in Post Falls and it made both my daughter and I very sick. Ironically my sone an wife who did not have any were just fine.

The country smoke house is our favorite stop on the way up north. Their meat is so fresh and their jerky is out of this world....if your lucky enough to catch them cooking in the summer STOP!!!

This is a must stop if youre going up Van Dyke, free samples and you will end up buying something lol. I always spend way too much in here but this stuff is so good and the people are so nice.

This place gave a whole new meaning to food poisoning. I was sick for almost 24 hours straight. The food tastes alright but the aftermath was severe.
