I learned how to ski at Nashoba back in the late 80s and it was a wonderful experience.....Now that I have young children I immediately enrolled my oldest in the kid club for ages 3 & 4 and what a disaster it was. All kids are put on the bunny hill in large groups with twenty other large groups of kids vying for the same space providing zero space to practice what’s being taught or even have enough room to get momentum to try a snow plow. What’s hilarious is the instructors (and most of them are high school kids with no experience*) are wearing full size ski’s and everyone spends the entire lesson tripping over each other and learning nothing except how to get back up. *this is 100% the truth as a flyer goes out at the beginning of the season asking for instructors clearly saying no experience necessary I eventually just pulled my child out of the lesson and we practiced together on another hill. Now that my oldest can ski we continue to visit Nashoba because of its proximity to our home and the hill matches his skill level, but the experience is nothing to write home about. From the lift attendants that smoke while they work to the dingy lodge/bathrooms it would be nice if they brought back that experience I remember….

I recommend this hill to people learning to ski or snowboard. Its not intimidating or fast, and you get to practice your chairlift dismounts more often. If you can move at a reasonable pace, you can finish a run in about 30 seconds, which makes the $37 price tag a little high. If youre looking to blow off steam after work, head to Wachusett. Nothing here is too steep, the "black diamonds" just have some mini-moguls. The terrain park is worth mentioning, since its got a couple of jumps and rails. When I went, it had just snowed and the terrain park was slow, so it limited how much I could do there. After about 20 lift rides I was bored. I wanted to make it worth the ticket price, but it just isnt. Maybe itd be fun if you brought the whole family, but its not worth a huge trip.

This is a good option for someone whos never skied before or for someone whos still not comfortable with doing long runs. I was pretty disappointed when I went, being that Im an avid skier. Id never been to Nashoba, and granted it was an impromptu after-work trip, I immediately wished Id driven a little further and taken my money up to Wachusett. The runs were just way too short--like over within 30 seconds short. Additionally, the lodge was just so outdated and to be honest, kinda dingy. That combined with the oldies music playing through the terrain park, I felt like I was in a time-warp. The only thing that was really decent was the terrain park. I wouldnt spend $37 to go back though. To me it felt like a bit of a rip-off.

Nashoba Valley Ski Area is only minutes from home. The closeness more than makes up for the smaller size. This is a great learning hill. It isnt huge and only has a few trails but they are fun and the lift lines are rarely long so you can get in a lot of runs. The restaurant (upstairs, not the snack bar / cafeteria downstairs) offers decent food and a nice view of the slopes. Good place to enjoy a drink and some food while keeping an eye on the kids while they ski. If youre expecting super long runs and really steep slopes, youll be disappointed but there arent any of those this close to Boston. If youre expecting fun, the chance to make a lot of runs and a short drive, this is a great place to go.

The place it self is nice, convenient and not too big. Nice small town feel to it. What I didnt like was a staff member named Jamie. He was COMPLETELY rude and insulting. I was shocked in disbelief the way he treated me. I was a paying customer and I was just standing there waiting for lessons and he started calling me names for no reason. Completely uncalled for. Then he started stepping on my skis and made like it was my fault. I have no idea why this guy acted the way he did but I certainly will not return because of him.

There was serious children safety issue between 4:30pm - 6:30pm today - 31st Dec as we observed, a black man, barging into kids intentionally. He had his pant zip open and was exposing his private parts. He tried the same with my daughter, but I pulled her away safely. Parents need to be vigilant and Mgmt needs to be vigilant and Do the needful to remove such pedophiles and criminals away. Definitely Not recommended to visit after sunset due to safety issues.

Dont go during the day when they first open at 5pm. There are no umbrellas on the tables so the sun is beaming on you & theres no breeze. Its sweltering. Also, there are a million screaming kids swimming. The food was average & way overpriced. The service was good though. The atmosphere was unique. I imagine on a cooler evening, listening to some live music, having drinks at the bar, might be a fun date night. I dont think well go back anytime soon.

Thats right black people, nashoba ski area isnt for you. This is where the white overprivileged snot nosed trash gather. God forbid they see a black person on skis. Theyll think your there to terrorize and molest their kids and you may end up in handcuffs!! Consider yourself lucky though,Im a Westford resident and I have to live around these people!!

Overpriced for a 2 hour (for a very small slope) . $33!!? And the staff was very disorganized, one of the staff members watched me stand in line for 20 minutes, before he told me that I couldnt be in the line because its "kids only"... Which made me waste a good portion of my time. Will never return to this place EVER again.

This is a great little place to ski, especially during the week or in the evening. They do a great job keeping conditions useable even when weather doesnt cooperate. There is a nice mix of skill levels and great terrain park. This is also a perfect place to learn: cheaper prices and a knowledgeable staff.

Attended corporate event at the tiki bar. Great selection of mixed drinks and ok beer selection. Good set of games such as corn hole and ladder ball. Grounds has a large set of volleyball courts. Small beach and a pond to swim in. Overall it was fun afternoon in the sun with coworkers.

Yes its small, its not a adequate ski area for anyone above a beginner level - however, its great for learning, and great for a quick trip after work on a nice snowy evening. Peak season, they have nice features throughout the mountain. It can get very busy during peak hours.

I learned to ski here in the early 70s when they had four tows and a T bar and just 7 slopes and 1 trail. The quality of the snowmaking , meticulously groomed slopes and a friendly staff is what sets this small ski area apart from the others nearby.

Bad experience. They transferred our skii lesson time to a slot, which was only for kids and nobody was helping us initially. Later they had to cancel our lesson. Communication problem between guides and ppl selling passes in the office.
