Ive bought mostly maintenance items from this store in the past wipers, oil, etc. Recently I purchased a remanufactured power steering pump. I installed it and it whined as bad as the one I replaced. I told Advanced and they said "no problem just take it out and well give you another one" . No problem? Not for them I was the one wasting his time installing their low quality product. So I returned it and installed another pump from them and sure enough it was also defective. I got no pressure from the second pump at all. Advanced told me they could give me another pump but Id have to be an idiot to trust them again. I lost about 10 hrs. because of their defective parts. Time I could have spent on profitable work. I returned the second defective pump and got my money back, then bought an AC Delco remanufactured pump from West Springfield Auto in Wilmington MA. This pump had no problems it was slightly more money but well worth it if you dont have to reinstall it twice. the pump on my Silverado is very time consuming to remove. I will now shop at W. Springfield Auto for parts. They remind me of the good stores that used to be everywhere before these chain stores came along. They are also very knowledgeable.

Went there because they advertise free battery installation on the website, I get there and get told that its not for all cars and mine didnt qualify. That is fine, and not the reason for the 1 star review. It gets a 1 star review because of the way I was spoken to when I asked. I was looking at the batteries for about 5 minutes trying to the find the right one, they were not organized in any manner what so ever (they have numbers for freaks sake, why are they not in sequential order???). No one asked if i needed help, and eventually I asked for help from the blond woman who was looking at me the whole time doing nothing. The tone, lack of any pleasantries and complete lack of willingness to help was extremely off putting. "NO we dont change batteries on every car, *pffft* we only on cars that it takes less than 5 minutes to change...." in probably the rudest tone i have ever been spoken to in years. Sorry I asked for helped and ruined your day by asking for help. I regret buying the battery and i should of left... needless to say i will never shop there again. I will take my business to NAPA auto parts a little further up the street.
