My boyfriend and I went into this particular Kays a few weeks ago to start our engagement ring search, we had a very friendly sales person and she helped us and answered all of our questions. Since there was not a lot of options, we had specifically requested a band from their catalog so we can see it in person. We were told the engagement ring band would come in my ring size (10), we also ordered a 1 ct oval diamond to look at in person as well. The sales lady said that she could do this for us if we opened an account with them. We were reluctant but she said it would NOT be a hard pull on our credit score. After that meeting, we discovered that the credit check did in fact hurt our credit score. A couple weeks later, we were notified that both the diamond and band came in for us to look at. We came into the store and found out that the band was not in the size that was requested and instead was a standard showroom size (7)...no one informed us of this mistake when they called. Additionally, the managers working seemed shocked when we said we ordered a diamond, it took almost 20 minutes for them to even find it. At this time, we were working with a different sales person...he was extremely pushy and very "used car salesman." He informed us of a major sale if we purchased the ring today, and we said we just wanted to look as I wanted to be surprised and I did not want to be present for the purchase of the ring. We had asked for the total price of the ring and he kept giving us the price with the discount, that ended that day. He told me to go for a walk while he talks to my boyfriend, and almost every other word out of this mans mouth was regarding this sale. Very unpleasant shopping experience. I recently read an article about Kays misplacing peoples engagement rings, and other issues, and this experience did not help.

I went there today to look at buying my wedding bands. The lady who helped me looked miserable! Not to mention when she put my ring in a diamond enhancer i didnt like it she then walked away with my ring to a lady sitting down behind the counter, I am watching as the lady is using a tool trying to separate my ring from the enhancer ( what looked like needle nose pliers) when she finally came back she brought me look at a different selection of ring not realizing i put my ring back on my finger. I wish I looked at it right away instead i realize when i get home that it is all hacked up exactly where you would put those tools near the prongs. They knew what they did they are professional and got away with it if i could only pull their cameras!!!! THANKS FOR RUINING MY DIAMOND RING!!! DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS STORE!!!!!

Do not BUY here they do nothing for their customers, offer 90 day warranty for gold peices?? That should have been a red flag for me but I was fooled and hope they do not fool anymore people as this company has awful policies and I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. SORRY that I DID. DO NOT BUY HERE.
