"Next time you come back, I will throw the coupon on your face" that is exactly what cashier George at pro-desk counter said once. I asked what did you say? And, he repeated that sentence two more times. He was very rude. Is that how cashiers are trained by the management? I presented a coupon to the cashier and he was informed by the manager that they do not accept Lowes coupon. So I requested to get my coupon back and George refused to give me back and he squeezed it and was ready to throw in trash. So, I got little upset. Manager was called in. George got rude at me and yelled at me saying "next time if you come back, I will throw the coupon on your face". I had the worst experience ever at this store. Managers do not seem to trained their employees how to provide the best customer service. Managers and staff not helpful. The guy named "Alex" was kind of rude as well.

Home Depot in Reading outsources a company called ACS (American Carpet South) based out of southern New Hampshire for carpet installations. If you purchase a carpet from Home Depot please find your own company to do the installation. ACS has been a complete nightmare to deal with. Their customer service is rude and untrustworthy. Their installers screwed up a job twice and three weeks later it still hasnt been fixed. Ive had two different crews work on installation hoping it would be done right. None of them can speak English. After submitting a claim with Home Depot the first time, I never received a call back and I was forgotten about. Filed a second claim after the installation was done wrong again. Hoping Home Depot can do something about this immediately before I cancel and ask for a full refund. I would suggest going elsewhere when looking to purchase/install a carpet.

Please, please, please save your money and your time and go somewhere else but this HD. I have had a lot of unpleasant experience with this one. It started two years ago with a dishwasher where i lost $250 for nothing and a week ago, i lost $160 on smart locks. It is crazy when you see, sorry but we can not help you, we just do not have this product so you can NOT return it. Yes i did not have a receipt at the time, but who does? Im buying thing to improve my home and use it and NOT to return. It takes some time to actually do things at home, despite that we have 10 months old baby. And now we are short on money again thanks to this HD. Anyways, with the rude personnel please avoid this place as much as you can! P.S. Did not have any problems with any other HD in the area though.

I cant speak to evening or weekend service, but my weekday mornings visit was quite pleasant. I was given great assistance in the bathroom sink area. The lines for checkout were short and the clerks friendly. My only caveat was trying to use the website--couldnt figure out if certain items were actually on hand at the store, nor via online purchases. I think the website could use some user-friendly revision--but that is corporate, not the local store.

Now that Im a more experienced DIY-er, Home Depot works out better for me, as they seem to cater to the more experienced, unlike Lowes. This location is pretty good, never had a problem finding what I needed. It really helps that the website tells you where each product is located in the store.

No problems with my shopping at this store. As for the way too long rant about shopping carts not being corralled and hitting a car... please elaborate as to what kind of RARE brand new car costs $33k! Must be one of those rare Accords I only get to see in museums and car shows.

Someone is usually pretty easy to find when I am looking for something. What would we do without home depot and Loews? Is there anything they dont have? I would have given them 5 stars but I had to park very far away. This is my favorite Home Depot.

These kitchen cabinet refacing people are really annoying. Every time Im in there I get approached by a salesman asking if Ive "heard about todays promotion." Yes, yes I have. Its the same fn promotion every day and Im not interested. Quit asking.

Amazing Customer Service! Just want to thank Manager on Duty "Jack" and "Anthony" for their helpful response and quick remedy in dealing with a product return. Reading Home Depot is lucky to have such a fabulous manager and staff!

I came to do a van rental to pick up some furniture. Very affordable, and no extra fees (as you would encounter in a U-haul place). Van rental has to be back at the store by 9pm
