In my honest opinion, today at 10:01 a.m I was hoping to get assistance soon for 2 items and in the plumbing deparment funny thing was that no was there in any of the plumbing departments. So i went to speak to a kind lady who works in home depot to call for a assistance. And so i waited. I set my stopwatch to start. 5 min. Past ... No one came so I went to speak to the lady again. She asked for someone to call in assistance. Now i did not want to judge. But when they tried calling in assistance through the speakers... Well it sound mostly like mumble and not so clear to hear at. 15 min. Past... I went sitting on top a bucket while whistling a song. When the same women and other employees noticed that i needed assistance, it was already past 20 min. And so they brought me someone that with somewhat descent knowledge about plumbing however, they didnt whether or not they had the items i needed. The one that helped me was honest and certain for one thing.... WAS TODAY DITCHING DAY!!!! Because employees and staff attendance maybe lacking. Or, they were being busy with something else. But i dont think so. Their should be at least 2 or 3 member in the plumbing department. More or less departments that should have someone on standby such as painting, electric, appliance and plumbing. Well for sure i gave up 20 min. Of life and sure wont get it back. May have used it up cleaning dishes and mopping floor at home than sitting and waiting on a bucket.

I went to store in 3 Mystic View Road,MA yesterday to return a vanity light around 3:50pm at 1/22/2017. Stacey was the person working on it for me. She refused to return the item because she said the store didnt sell the item. She let me return it to other stores where sell it but far away from the location. However on the HD website, it clearly states that the item can be returned to the nearest store. I said I could call customer service to see what I could do. Stacey responded sarcastically that "didnt you just say you are in a hurry? Why you have time to call customer service now?" Then she rudely let me take the item away from the counter claiming she was going to serve next person. When I tried to call customer service, another woman next to Stacey helped me and refunded. Meanwhile the woman was working on it, I was talking to my friend. Stacey rudely and sarcastically stopped her help with her"next" customer and interrupted me saying,hello,hello, why are you looking around? Can I help you? Whats wrong with her?????!!! She refused to serve me and now I even could not talk to my friend??? Also, the woman who helped me didnt refund the tax which should be returned as perchase store and refund store both are in the MA. I was very disappointed about this experience in Home Depot. I would not come to the store again and would not recommend it either.

Awful. Went in to buy a basic gas range. Sales associate lied about the installation and delivery process. (She said the delivery and installation crews would coordinate to install new stove and haul away old one... They dont!) They delivered (after over a week of waiting) a broken range. We returned it and tried to coordinate the delivery and installation of a new one. Each department blamed the other. They all passed us off to another person to talk to... No one was able to help. After a week of trying, we gave up and tried to cancel and get a refund. Turns out I couldnt do that over the phone so I had to go back into the store again. After an hour of trying to get our money back, they finally relented. I drove over to Grays Appliance in Melrose and in 2 days they delivered and installed the same range and hauled away the old one. And they matched the Home Depot price. That will be my last visit to Home Depot.

Went to buy a grill, simple enough task. There were no Home Depot employees in the Grill section so I went to the Customer Service counter to ask for help. The lady paged someone over the loudspeaker to go to the Grill section for customer assistance. After about 10 minutes of waiting, no one showed up so I went and tracked down another employee. He brought me outside to the grills, wrote down the product number of the grill I wanted and said "Go back inside and they will help you" and that was it. "They" who? The person who was supposed to be in the grill section and never showed? I was annoyed at that point and left the store to buy my grill some place else. Apparently the term "Customer Service" has long been forgotten at this store.

I went in for a new blade for my chop saw. I had tried to cut too small a piece of wood and the blade got jammed on itself. (stupid and I know better) I couldnt figure out how to take the blade off. So, I brought it into the rental section thinking they repair their own machinery. They said they dont usually do this kind of thing and that they didnt know how to replace it. However, they said since they werent busy theyd give it a try. Between You Tube, several tools and dismantling a good portion of the saw, they were able to put a new blade on for me!!!! Thank you Al, Jason and Johnny! I really appreciated the extra help you provided. My project didnt miss a beat! All the best, Ellen

Worst Customer Service: I was returning an ONLINE order to the Home Depot Store located at 3 MYSTIC VIEW RD EVERETT, MA 02149 and due to the incompetency of one of the Customer Specialist Katie, have to wait for an HOUR and have to call the customer service and the Store Manager. She don;t know how PAYPAL work and what to do with the online order. She is asking again and again about the receipt number and I have shown her the email with the order ID. She even insist to put the PASSWORD on the installed credit/ debit machine and was arguing till one sensible employee instructed her to look by ONLINE Order ID and helped to save another trip. not as good as the Assembly Square location this one is much smaller and tends to have less of variety/ selection been here before a few times and nothing really all that special some of the products i was looking for were not available and customer service here isnt that great as well.its just a 10-15 minute drive to Somerville dont waste your time unless you need to come to the Center Costco or Target there is nothing special about this place and its not very pedestrian friendly either the way it was set up. so watch for flying cars in the parking lot almost no matter where you are to the HD. or anywhere else.

We just spent over 30 minutes waiting for someone to come cut shelving for us. The girl at checkout kindly called repeatedly over the loudspeaker for someone to come help, but no one ever did. The store was not busy, and there were numerous employees milling about in other sections. If there was no one available to cut, they should have said so. Instead, we eventually walked out, leaving behind an entire cart of items we planned to buy, rather than give them our business.
