Happy To Take Your Money – But Zero Customer Service My wife and I recently undertook a remodeling project of our home. During the course of the project, we spent a significant amount of money at the Norwood Home Depot. As part of the remodel, we ordered a suite of new appliances, including a dishwasher. When we opened up the dishwasher box there was a massive gash right down the center of it. This was not just a scratch (that I could have dealt with) the dishwasher was literally torn apart right down the middle, like a tin can. I called the Home Depot to try and get a replacement dishwasher and I was appalled by their customer service. I was continuously put on a seemingly permanent hold in the appliance center. I actually had to call in 6 times, over the course of a number of hours, to speak with a human being. To add insult to injury, I was then transferred all around the company and then told call a corporate line. When I called the corporate line I found that I speaking with someone in a call center in India. India, Seriously? I purchased the dishwasher at the Norwood Home Depot, not Mumbai! At this point in time I have spoken with everyone I possibly could and I still have no resolution. But I do have a kitchen that cannot be completed, with Thanksgiving right around the corner. BUYERS BEWARE – stay away from the Norwood Home Depot. They will not stand behind their products.

Do not purchase your appliances from Home Depot. I made that mistake and lost four hours of my life between the purchase and delivery. Actually, they were very good at taking my money for a new washer, dryer, and microwave. In addition I paid for hoses for the washing machine, a vent kit for the dryer, and installation of the microwave. When the delivery truck arrived, the team had no idea that they needed to install the microwave and worse, had no tools with them to perform the work. The crew leader couldnt care less, didnt offer to call the store to figure out what to do, and had a poor attitude about the whole situation. They clearly were in a rush to the next delivery. After disconnecting my current dryer from the existing vent, they were getting anxious about how much time I was taking on the phone with the store and decided that they couldnt wait, wouldnt deliver the washer/dryer, and left with all of the appliances in tow. As it turns out, that was fine with me - Home Depot themselves (at the store) were also seemingly indifferent to the entire situation when I returned later in the afternoon to process the $2400 refund. The good news is that talking to a local appliance store ended up saving me about $225 as the price for the same items was $300 less minus a $75 delivery fee.

This is the worst home depot in the area. I live very close to this store but I stopped going to this store and prefer going Mansfield or Avon. They dont have any customer service. All the associates are rude and feels like they doing a favor by working in home depot. The worst department is door and window, lazy crooks. I had custom door order and was told will be in the store in 2-3 weeks. I called after few days and was told coming on a particular date, called back in the morning on that date and was told it is coming today call in the evening, when I called in the evening I was told it will be another 3 weeks. They are liars and crook. Will never buy anything from them. Not only this their online status of items are wrong, quite few time I found online status saying available in Norwood store but when I go there could not find, and as usual associates are useless.

Appliances at Home Depot? Think twice… Price was fine, my washer and dryer I hope will be good, but service was horrible, Fred (Home Depot sale associate ) and I was there for 2 hours just trying close the invoice so I can pay and go home, he had no clue about what was happening in that computer and after exhaust of run in circle he call store manager, saying he wasnt able to finish, then left without complete the order (YES HE JUST LEFT ME THERE). Only after store manager came my order was concluded. 10 minutes process…. Thank you FRED!!

The Store Manager; tall, dark hair and feminine, thinks he is all that. He is the most arrogant person Ive ever met. Even his employees were complaining about him. When I asked to speak with him about a special order that I wanted information about, he acted like I wasnt worth his time. You know when employees tell you that he lies to customers everyday that you really need to go to Loews. The Managers there are so much better. Hate this store!

Home depot is home depot. They are basically all the same. I live here, sometimes making multiple trips a day depending on the project.The only reason it will not get 5 stars is the lack of help in the departments. Even when its slow, its hard to find someone to help you if needed. The quality of certain lumber is sometimes questionable as well with a fair amount of damage and warped pieces but overall a good selection.

One of the rudest people here. Asking something like "Can I ask you a question?" .. is met with a response: "you can, but I will keep doing my work". This is just a one of instance. Very few people here who will be polite to you. Would not recommend this place.

I go in for one small thing and an hour later I have a cart full of stuff, its impossible not to load up. They have a very good selection of tools, parts and building materials and most of the employees are pretty helpful.
