Although I am sure the previous poster did have some insurance problems, I can absolutely guarantee the pharmacy was at little to no fault for this. Pharmacies such as these must follow certain state and federal laws. In this instance, it would seem as if this womens insurance would not cover the prescription. As unfortunate as this is, there is NOTHING the pharmacy can do in this situation. Pharmacies CANNOT override insurance companies. They merely fill what the doctors and insurance agrees to. I highly doubt it ended up that they agreed to fill it. More than likely either the insurance was denying it or the doctor was not answering the 3x/day calls that go to them when prescriptions require a prior authorization or the written prescription was done incorrectly. In fact, many doctors will prescribe chronic patients medicine and do one of two things: They will write it incorrectly to require the pharmacy to call their office or they will call immediately after the patient leaves. What is this conversation about? They will specifically instruct the pharmacy to NOT fill the prescription, but they are not allow to tell the customer that he doctor called. This usually is the case with frequent abusers who may cause a scene in the doctors, or with doctors who are afraid to say no. I am in no way saying this lady is in this situation, it is just extremely frustrating when 90% of the problems pharmacies encounter are the fault of the insurance company or the doctors.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! I had some trouble with my insurance recently, and even though I shouldve been covered they kept saying it didnt run and having me come back, by the time they agreed to fill it the prescription ran out. They had absolutely NO sympathy. The main pharmacists seemed happy to tell me that I couldnt get my medication even thought they knew it would put me a whole MONTH behind on my schedule and it was their fault. Did nothing to help me. Were incredibly rude and didnt explain things clearly. Definitely recommend going to ANY other CVS if you have to go there (my insurance requires that I do) or Shattucks across the street which is absolutely amazing.

Horrible customer service at the pharmacy. Ive been a customer for a long time and Ive finally had enough of their awful systems and constant screw ups. The worst part is their condescending attitudes. It would be one thing if they were nice about all the times they completely mess up, but I draw the line when theyre also giving me a huge problem about it. Ive spent a fortune here over the years and Im extremely relieved to be taking my business elsewhere.

Had an awful experience with the rudest cashier / superviser Cheryl .. Shes not so friendly and hates people who uses coupons she treated me so rude was throwing the money on the counter and hitting her computer so hard .. While ringing me up she was talking about me to her co worker! Awful customer service she needs a new job and attitude. Never shopping at that place again mind you after me she had another customer who was mad at her service as well.

This CVS lost a roll of our vacation photos we dropped off to get developed. The other roll they shipped back to a different CVS so we had to drive there instead. We had to stop back about 5 times until we decided the photos were lost and gave up. Customer service also leaves something to be desired. I have never had a quick stop, there are always lines and slow employees.

pharmacy is awful. the people there try their best but the fact that they might not have my medicine at all times is ridiculous. theyd have me going around to other cvs in the area. after years of dealing with this hassle every month, wegmans has no problem getting my prescription ready when i drop it off.

This CVS also lost a roll of film that I brought in to get developed once. I almost never write reviews on this place, but I saw the comment below and felt obliged to. A part from that, it is a good store to shop at

The best of the worst. Americas McDonalds of pharmacies, this one offers a drive-through that gives dog biscuits to your dog in the car. What happened when I brought my cat? Nothing. :<

One of my favorite places in town (and that means something considering the saturation of pizza places here). Really good meat in the toppings. Good burgers, calzones, and subs as well.

Went there to get photos for a Visa. Very poor customer service with the lady taking the photos not being helpful in any way.
