WORST EXPERIENCE IN A RETAIL STORE IN MY LIFE. Went to walgreens on a whim, I usually shop at CVS but i figured id run in here this time. Grabbed some nail polish and went to the counter, no one was around. had to wait a minute for an employee to come ring me up, but no biggie, i was a cashier once too so i never get upset at those who work in retail, always pleasant. Guy who rang me up looked like the manager, he had a nice vest on different than the other employees. He rang up my nail polish, and mentioned that if i had a walgreens card, i can get these at a discounted price. I told him i didnt have a walgreens card, and politely said i wasnt interested in getting one ( since i always go to cvs instead and never ever come here). He said "if you dont have the card you cant get discounted price". Then i said "thats okay" nicely. Then he rudely said "It is NOT OKAY." I was stunned. I again politely declined. He then DEMANDED i give him my phone number to see if I had one in the system, and i said again that i knew i didnt have one. He then raised his voice again screaming "GIVE ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER." Again, i said no thanks. Finally he yelled "Give it to me NOW". I was absolutely shocked. His tone was so harsh, like i was forbidden to leave the store before signing up for a walgreens card. I was totally polite, but he was pushy and demanding, he actually scared me a little. I finally looked him straight in the eye and said "NO". I actually felt SCARED. Almost like he was threatening me!! I know that may sound silly - but his tone of voice was that hard and loud! Ive never felt so pressured into doing something, never ever felt scared to purchase nail polish. The guy in line behind me told the guy to back off, i was actually happy someone notified to intervene. Happy i stuck up for myself though.... why did he demand i get one? Most cashiers ask if they are interested in signing up for their store card and once the customer declines, they back off and continue the transaction. But this guy refused to take my payment until i provided him my information, continuing to YELL at me. what kind of manager does that to a happy paying customer? was it so bad i wanted to purchase things full price? I was so scared of him i almost just left the nail polish on the counter and left the store. He looked so angry at me, not sure if he thought i was some stupid young girl. Im 23, and have worked in retail when i was younger for 8 years as a cashier through school, and we would never EVER speak to a customer or anyone that way- especially when they were nice and polite through the whole thing. Absolutely disgusting behavior, never going this Walgreens or any one of their stores again.

Im having a VERY BAD time with their photo department. I web ordered a calendar for my mothers birthday and another for my sister. They printed one, alerted me my order was complete. But the printer was down for the larger calendar. I paid for the partial order. They didnt attempt to print or contact me about the second calendar. I returned a few days later and a manager informed me that I had to re-place the web order due to their inaction. So I placed the order again, Im gonna try to pick it up today, and if Walgreens is reading this, dont try to charge me. I have all the appropriate documentation of paying for a complete order that I havent received.

Best experience on Christmas day 2015. A singular staff member enlightened my day here. Just a smile, availability: she really applied the principle "One client at the same time". I will go back to this store just to experience the same feeling. Thank youuuu. I cant remember your name...sorry.

the items are usually fairly priced. the cvs card doesnt really help you save much, and i dont think they have rewards. the restroom is for employees only
