one of the FEW remaining left of the Book World wake up people this is IT basically Walden closed its doors years ago Borders is gone so now this is what we still have left so rejoice! we NEED at least one book store where you can go read relax browse and have a snack or a cup of coffee all while reading your favorite book or magazine! this place is it it has everything you could think of and 2 floors is an added plus! you dont find this anymore E Readers Tablets and Kindles are ALL taking over so be grateful of what you still have. the store it itself is HUGE but dont let the outside view fool you its actually smaller as you work your way though it all only takes about 20 mins max the staff is helpful but most will probably not ask unless it looks like you really need assitance cant say much about the Cafe but it does look very good the Music / Dvd section is pretty dinky so dont bother its not much. all of this on the Middlesex Turnpike just feet from the Burlington mall and 128 if your looking for books this place is it trust me there is an 80% chance you will find everything and more please keep it alive its YOUR bookstore! and i think better than the few others around this place is totally worth visiting you wont be dissapointed.

On a recent Saturday, I made my way over to the Barnes and Noble in Burlington, Mass. to buy gifts for family. The results were well worth the trip. Besides a large selection of books, many of them just out, the store offered a wide-ranging collection of video, music, cards, writing materials, gifts, and toys--and you can check out the items in person before buying. Combined with a friendly staff and a pleasant cafe, the experience was almost irresistible. It was also efficient because I found all the gifts that I was looking for in an hour. I found it a great way to spend an afternoon. Clearly there is a lot more to the experience of reading than scanning the title of a book on the Internet from your laptop.

I truly dont know how this place stays in business. The employees (especially in the childrens books) are awful - a lot of overtly condescending "customer service" from suspicious old ladies stalking me through the department, convinced that Im stealing, as I shop with my niece. Honestly, theyre nicer to the squatters in the café who sit all day and never buy anything. And God forbid you need to use the restroom. A landfill of medical waste feels more sanitary.

The store is very nice and well kept, has a wide variety of book and items. Me and my grandma had a bit of a mishap where we didnt have a way to return home (our phones werent able to connect to the wifi for some reason, we also didnt have a sim card.) the staff were very nice and helped us call a cab home. In summary, the store is big and clean, the staff are really friendly and nice and overall i had a very pleasant experience!

Out of all of the Barnes and Noble stores in the area, I have found this store to have the best selection. I tend to frequent the psychology, business, and computer sections of bookstores (Im a professional software developers and read the others as a hobby), and usually find the technology sections lacking. With this store, however, Im always able to find something new and exciting in all three areas.

HUGE Store. Big selection. I liked their section of board games and collectibles like Gundam kits and Star Wars items. Thought it was cool they were on display too. Wish their Role Playing Game section had more diversity. Its pretty much just D&D books. I know im better off at a comic shop but I happened to be in here and was hoping to find something for a different game.

Books are not alpha by author, they are randomly placed on the shelves so good luck finding anything. Also, good luck finding someone to help, its like a ghost town in there. I looked up a book on their computer system, not only was it listed in the wrong section on the computer, but the person who wrote the foreword was listed as the author, not the actual authors.

The shelves are considerably disordered - its hardly the local library - and sadly theyve made an effort over the years to rid themselves of the more technically oriented books - but they have an amazing collection of stuff and as theyre one of the few bookstores left in the area outside Cambridge, a real treat nonetheless.

Good selection of books and toys. However very poor customer service and apathetic employees....might as well order online vs dealing with staff that could care less about how they gift wrap a box and a book and then have the nerve to tell you they personally prefer to use gift bags instead. So rude.

Huge, two level store. Tons of selection and themed sections that make this a great spot if youre not sure what you want to read next. Fantastic kids section. My wife and I will occasionally make a trip to this store just because my son likes to see all the books and play with the train set they have.

The open, high-ceiling floor plan is pleasing to the eye but creates an echo, so this place is best for browsing but not extended reading. Bring your noise-canceling headphones. Good selection in some genres. Seating in café is not cozy but does the job. Staff is friendly and tries to help.

Im glad to see Barnes and Noble still holding strong in the age of e-books. I love going here while waiting for a movie showing at AMC. The staff here is friendly, the selection is extensive, and they have a remarkably large number of good board games available for purchase.

Its as if the bookstore itself knows its a dying breed. This store has increased its selection of toys and kid related non book items increasingly over the years. That being said, I do love that you can buy board games and my personal favorite, puzzles here.

The best in the area whether you want to read or have cup of coffee. You must come with your phone or computer charged; otherwise, you wont be able to charge in this area since they have eliminated all the outlet. This is the only downside.

My kids love visiting this store and it fuels their passion for books. The kids book club gives them rewards after they have bought so many books and when they dont have a book in stock my kids can order it in within a few days.

Theres a reason why I purchase books online. Tired of going here to pick up a book that is supposed to be in stock only to not find it where it should be and get attitude from staff when trying to locate it.

Really nice staff and always very accommodating. Love going there and choosing a book by actually reading a portion of them first. If you go more than twice join the club to receive a discount on the books.

Its hard to believe that this store is still open. Its always been a nice store, but books are all online now. Ive visited here purely for the Starbucks and as a place to meet my mortgage broker.
