I was refused an inspection sticker on my car in Massachusetts today 5/20, because the inside of my front tires were bald. I was unaware of this and was told that it was caused by a bad front end alignment. I purchased the tires through SEARS in Oct. 2011... 17 months ago...and put 20,000 miles on the car since then. A front end alignment was done at purchase according to the receipt I brought with me to the store. I went to the SEARS automotive store in Braintree, Ma where I was very rudely treated by the supervisor in the automotive dept., who told me it was my fault because I didnt have the alignment re-checked at 12 months....and I had no proof that I rotated the tires with oil changes done elsewhere. He refused to help me. I wasnt looking for new tires..only a discount according to the warranty I had in my hand. This guy was very rude, nasty and arrogant to me. Someone else in that same dept. did later help me...but seriously is this how they roll at SEARS Automotive in Braintree? Is this what SEARS considers appropriate behavior in a supervisor? I wont ever be using SEARS automotive again, very poor customer service. And be careful if you buy tires from them that they dont honor the warranty.

I was there a couple of days ago. I was getting something in the Lands End part of the store. While I was in line. One of the women that was working there said that there was a problem with the register and that people had to go to the registers in the other departments to pay for their items. I went to the register in the mens department to pay for the items that I had. It took a little while to get to the front of the line. When I got to the register I had told the cashier that I wanted some gift receipts. When the gift receipts were printing out. The cashier gave me a little attitude saying that you wanted them. To me it seemed like the cashier just did not want to be there at all. At that point I just wanted to get out of the store.

I will never go back to Sears after how I was treated. I tried to return tools I received on my birthday over a month ago. I didnt see any mentioning of a 30-day return policy on the receipt. When I went in, they wouldnt do a return or exchange for store credit. The tools were still in brand new condition in the packaging, and I had the receipt still!!! Yet it wasnt enough... The manager gave me a telephone number which I called and waited 20 min to get the same response. All anyone could say was, "sorry thats our policy". They pushed me away, and now Im stuck with tools I dont need. I was planning on exchanging and getting more, but now Im too upset and wish I could have been treated better

I had my wedding registry with Sears and the gifts wont update after being purchased. When I had my shower I found my self with multiples of just about everything. Sears made it really difficult to return anything and offered no apologies. Excepting no part of the blame. It was a week long endeavor for both me and my fiancé trying to get answers. May I mention how difficult it is to get anyone on the phone there at the Braintree Sears! Close to impossible! The customer service is nonexistent and still left with no answers.

The store let a Fraud. charge go through on my card when the person did not actually have the card. Are you kidding me? Irresponsible, Mr Roebuck! Edit: They returned my call saying they couldnt help me... I knew that already, I wanted to know WHY they let the transaction through...but to waste your time to tell me that the next day?! Irresponsible, Mr Roebuck!

Can get tools for good prices when watching for sales. Very understaffed but sears is going through tough times so expected. Can.lead to hard time checking out or needing service.
