We ordered a refrigerator that was on sale. We received an email saying that there was "an issue" with our payment via paypal. We called customer service and they said we had "until midnight today" to fix the issue. We called paypal and they stated to us there was no issue with payment and emailed us a confirmation of the "sale". However JCP STILL canceled the order...so we decided to REORDER it...but found that the price had GONE UP BY $150.00 in one day! The old bait and switch by JCP...they didnt want to honor their advertised price so they lied about us having a payment issue.

I love jc Penney , I always find something there, especially the coupons and rewards. I have one complaint. The ladies restroom in Peobody , Ma is very dirty. Toilet paper everywhere and a toilet is always backed up. It needs to be tended too regularly. I wont be using it anymore until there is improvement.

Cant get anyone to answer the phones when I call and calling out or coming in late becomes an issue because I cant talk to anyone I called multiple times and no response makes look for a different job to be honest

I tried calling, the choices were unintelligible, finally someone answered but sent me to the wrong department, this happened again, then after 10 minutes the call was cut off.

Only one I have gone to that has a much bigger selection of casuals for bigger women! I just wish there was the same for the sizev18s as there is for 18W!

I usually buy my summer clothing here. They have some good sales. The sales staff is never to be found. You are pretty much on your own - I dont mind.
