I live in Peabody, and the stores there are pretty small. I saw that this one was bigger, so I decided to check it out, looking for a specific amiibos. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to find out if they had them. The guy working there asked what I was looking for, and when I started replying, he started speaking to someone on the store phone about computers, in the middle of my sentence (it didnt ring, not sure if he made the call or if the ringer is silent, its possible that I didnt hear it?). And it wasnt like he didnt hear me, I was pretty close to the front desk, and I was the only customer in the store. I kept looking at the products, waiting for him to finish. When he was off the phone, I tried to tell him what I was looking for a second time, genuinely trying to be polite. Again, he cut me off before I finished my sentence, telling me the price of an item, but not for the one I was looking for. Now, I can deal with interruptions. But when you talk to me in a condescending voice thats oozing with attitude and righteousness, right after you ignored my answer to a question YOU asked, it will definitely piss me off. I left without saying a word or buying a product, although I did want to congratulate him for losing a loyal customer in less than 5 minutes.

Hello, So I walked into this GameStop to get a game real quick because I already knew what I wanted, the cashier was sitting in back and left the hole store unattended he made me wait at the counter for 10 min before he got up from the back room, when he finally ask what I wanted I told him the game and without asking me he tried selling me the used copy, I told him I wanted it new so he opens a cabinet to grab a new one, so I thought, he actually tried to sell me a copy of the game that was open and not sealed and charge me for a new game, I told him I wanted a new sealed version he told me this was the last new copy even though I just seen a cabinet full of new sealed versions. I dont know what kind of tricks and scams that GameStop tries to pull but if its not sealed in its original package its used, they should know that better than anyone. I would recommend going to a Walmart or bestbuy where u know ur not getting scammed into buying a used game.

I went with my friend and Batman: Arkham Knight was on display and I said I thought it came out on Tuesday, and the cashier said "It is. We put it out so that people know its come out.Duh." When I left I said to my friend "How would I know that Im 11 and theres like a hundred posters on the window and theres commercials and TV Spots on TV. He said "He was nerdy and had a lot of acne". I said "IKR". HATED IT. But one time I was gonna get Batman: Arkham Origins Collectors Edition and they didnt have so a different nice cashier gave the Pre-Order version (Deathstroke Challenge Pack) for $10- so it was $30. Thats the only good part I liked about this GameStop.

Its Gamestop. You get what you expect. A crowded store, packed with as many games as they can fit on the shelves. Looks like theyre branching out a bit into some cell phone and hardware stuff. Nothing to write home about, but pleasant enough to come back if I need something.

Disgusting utterly disgusting the place smells horrible not to mention the service is extremely slow. All in all I will never go again and dont recommend this place to anyone.
