We purchased a recliner with a custom fabric two months ago and it has started to pill in three places. I popped into the store and the salesperson said she would call customer service and they would send someone out and if they needed to replace the chair they would. She told me that the fabric we choose should not pill. Customer service called and said that pilling is not covered so there is nothing they could so...sorry. We have purchased 3 recliners, an ottoman and a couch from La-Z-Boy and we will not be returning. Very unhappy with their customer service department.
