I have used this UPS several times in the past and have always been met with friendly service and received a confirmation Email before I even walk out the door. Unfortunately, I did not receive the confirmation Email last night and I called tonight to find out the tracking number. The woman, who identified herself as "Liz" working on Tuesday, November 16 at 6:15pm couldnt have been more rude. I told her I never received my confirmation Email and she stated in an annoyed tone, "Well thats impossible, Ken the owner sends it out and its automatically generated with the shipping label." I told her, once again, that I never received it and would like to track the package. She again stated that I should have received the Email. I told her I didnt and would like to know the tracking number. She then asked for Parcel Shipping Order number in the upper right-hand corner of my slip, but referred to it as something else and when I asked is it the Parcel Shipping Order in the red box, she sighed and in nasty tone said "Yes." After I read the number, she immediately began reading off the tracking number, when I asked her to please hold on, she was snippy and said, "Do you have a pen?" I then said, "No, hold on." so I could grab it off my desk. She read the number off very quickly. I asked if there was a way for her to see if the Email was generated in their system and she said "no" again with great emphasis and a rude tone. I told her I didnt appreciate her attitude as I was only calling to track my order. She was silent (no recognition or apology). I asked for her name, she paused and then said Liz (not sure if thats even her real name). I asked for her last name and she said she didnt have to give that to me. I told her thats ok, because I was going to call her manager/owner Ken the next day and let him know who I spoke to the night before was extremely rude. I am astonished by the terrible attitude of this woman!

So, I have had a mail box here for more than a few years now. This place changed ownership maybe a year ago. The new owner and crew are wonderful. Although Ken the last owner was very nice, he had a woman working there who wasnt so nice which is the source of all the bad reviews. The new owners are really easy going and understand customer service 100%. Even down to the small stuff like offering to help carry boxes out to the car. Some UPS stores grip about having to accept prepaid UPS packages, these guys welcome them, so now I dont have to hang my head each time I have an amazon return (which is often). The even give me a call if I get a weird delivery. I really cant ask for much more in a UPS store. A note about tape. I use to have a warehouse and ship a lot of boxes myself. Shipping tape is expensive. If you go down to staples it will cost you $5 for a small roll. Although they are happy to accept prepaid packages, they have no way to make up for the cost of tape. Its not just 1 box either. Im sure they blow threw a roll or 2 a day just taping boxes for prepaid packages. $1.50 for labor and materials is very inexpensive. Or you can buy your own roll of tape. I do just for faster drop off.

I entered the store at 6.20 to drop off a box. The 2 men who were there seemed irritated that someone would come 10 minutes before close to drop off a box. The box had one open side which I normally would have the UPS person tape it shut for me and stick my pre-printed label. They wanted $1.50 to apply tape to the box on one side. When I told them that I have always had people at UPS just close my box shut and never ask for tape money, one of them rudely replied that it takes a lot of tape to seal a box and I should go to another store if I dont like it. Telling a customer to leave is the exact opposite of customer service 101 and the only reason I actually paid the ill mannered man was because I had no time and had to get the box shipped. I dont grudge $1.50, but the attitude and complete lack for customer service is what prompted me to write this review. This store is also listed on UPS print as a print online and pick up store, but shockingly they dont really have print services through UPS so if you print something online and go to the store you will be greeted with rudeness and no printing.

I too had an aweful experience at this store... The woman was nasty, rude, and snippy as the other review indicated. I pledge not to give them any business going forward. The woman wanted to rip me off by asking me to buy the packaging tape since I hadnt purchased the return shipping materials from them. I could have bought the tape if not for the attitude.... Not stepping in there anymore.

June 2012: This store is under new management; agreed with other reviewers, the wife of the former owner was often rather rude and made the store unpleasant to visit. New management is friendly, courteous, and extraordinarily helpful - and that goes for the entire team staffing this location. I visit the store regularly for my work and couldnt be more pleased at the change. Thumbs up!
