The Rite Aid pharmacists in Acton are wonderful--I wouldnt trade them for any other. (The lower "Appeal" rating is just the general store appearance, not the pharmacy.) When Medco comes calling, I can only tell them how tragic it would be if services such as theirs put local pharmacies out of business. My pharmacists are friendly and knowledgeable both about the prescriptions they are dispensing and about my medical history and that of my family. They never fail to warn me of any potential negative interactions, and have frequently helped champion my cause in the face of insurance company mistakes and obstacles. I can always count on them to help and to provide expert advice. I am not a fan of large chain stores in general, but pharmacists like those at the Acton Rite Aid make the experience feel as personal as if I was dealing with a family business or my own internist.

This is the only review Ive ever written on a pharmacy. I hope to bring attention to the PROFOUND incompetence of the pharmacists there and the extremely poor customer service. They have confused my prescriptions too many times and "forgotten" to call me when my Rx was ready. It has even been more puzzling to receive phone calls from the pharmacy to tell me to pick up prescriptions that I NEVER placed!!! I have also have witnessed major violations of confidentiality in the line and pharmacists yelling behind the counter to a person far back in the line about private health matters. This pharmacy is just a disaster. Have already asked my doctor to transfer all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. This is by far THE WORST PHARMACY. Save your time and sanity and avoid Rite Aid in Acton

I have had prescriptions ordered at a few different pharmacies and now only have it filled at this location. The staff is great and the pharmacist is very knowledgeable, prompt and accommodating. There is a young gentleman who just started and is very helpful, patient and has excellent customer service skills. There was a short line with people waiting to pick up their prescriptions before the holiday and he called us by name to let us know they were working to fill the orders. I find that although your doctor has told you they will call it in many times their staff submits the request to the pharmacy some time later. I observed a customer who drop off her prescription and was rude because it wasnt filled quickly which prompt me to write this review.

This Pharmacy is a joke!!! They tell you your prescription will be ready in a 1/2 hr then after waiting an hr they finally have it ready! Whats even worse is when dropping off your prescription the people working in the pharmacy will give you eye contact while your standing @ the counter but yet wont walk over or acknowledge the customer waiting to drop off prescription for a good 10 minutes,it only takes 2 seconds to say "we will be right with you".... This Team really needs to get it together,they act very incompetent most of the time!!!!
