During my first time stopping in the receptionist were extremely helpful. They reviewed my insurance information and informed me of the exact benefits I receive. My insurance has no deductible for a specific line of frames, but some eye specialists only carry a select few. I was able to look at 3 full cases and even picked 2 pairs that I liked. They documented them on my account so I wouldnt have to track them down again. Before I left I was able to set up an appointment for an exam for the next day. I was able to fill out my medical history form later online at my convince to save time. When I arrived for my appointment I was seen promptly and had a friendly experience with everyone I interacted with. After the exam I confirmed the pair of frames I wanted, paid my bill and left. The entire process took less than an hour. When my frames were ready I received a text message from them informing me they were available for pick up. I walked in, tried them on, and left in less than 10 min. Again everyone I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. My family and I will be using Weinstein Eye Associates for a long time to come.

Incompetent staff who are unaware of their own business processes. I scheduled a lasik consultation and was told by their staff that there is no charge for it. So I get there several weeks later, and after checking-in, the lady behind the counter told me that she contacted my optometrist and received my latest exam results. After waiting for about 20 minutes, some lady comes out and says although we have your eye exam from your doctor, theres a charge. Remind you that I inquired about this weeks prior to this appointment and was told there was no charge. Clearly, they dont know what their doing. Luckily, I found a place in the area that does business the way their supposed to. They simply dont charge for a lasik consultation, and they dont have a bunch of employees who just graduated from Everest behind their counter who dont know what the hell their doing.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I placed an order for my contacts on 9/20/2016. I was told 5-10 business days. Verified mailing address several times. I call back 4 weeks later once my last pair finally rip. They said they were not sure where they were and said they were being shipped out directly from manufacturer. Mind you I had to call back twice because they said someone would give me a call back later that day for an update. No call back. I then called today. They said they would look into it and call me back. Again no call back. I finally call back and find out where my contacts were. Finally got fed up and asked for the tracking number. I tracked the contacts and they were shipped on 10/21 which is today. 5 weeks later and they still hadnt been shipped. I will never use this office again for anything.

The doctor was very confusing and although I have worn glasses my entire life I had a hard time understanding her recommendations for my prescription. Then after choosing frames I was told it would be 3 weeks for the order to be filled-much longer than I was used to waiting. I didnt hear anything after 3 week so I called them and was not given an answer. I called my insurance and they found out that the glasses had been lost. I finally received my glasses 3 weeks ago and the rx is not correct. I cant see my computer or anything close. I am trying to call them to make an appointment but they are not able to answer the phone and the answering machine put me on hold! I do not recommend them, especially as there are so many other eye care businesses in Waldorf.

I have been going to this eye Dr for many years now and they have messed my appt up multiple times from not haven me on the books when I had appts to having me down for wrong appts trying to schedule pre op exams after surgery and post op before to schedule me for a follow-up confirm it and then not even have a doctor that can see me. The list goes on. And not even being able to get me scheduled back in when I have time. They are not very efficient in there scheduling and booking. Ive had many issues and its out of the way for me so its frustrating when I have to drive there multiple times and plan my days around it.

Made an appointment a week ago was able to grab a cancellation for a Friday. Did my medical records online. Stated my eye condition. I get there go through routine exams. Wait an hour only to be told they dont have the equipment to fit me for the type of contacts I need. The doctor fast talked like a used car sales manager. Gave me a referral and pushed me out the door after trying to fit me for glasses that would do nothing for my eye condition. Just dont do it to yourselves. A wasted day off of work.

Ive been going to Weinstein for about 10 years now. Dr. Rana has seen me for about the last 5 years and she is amazing. Ive never had to wait, my contacts and glasses always arrive faster than expected and Ive even been able to get the help I need by just walking in. Ive been through a few different vision plans and theyve accepted all of them. Great place to go for quality care.

We were with Weinstein for many, many years. Good service, great selection of glasses. However, in recent years, the Waldorf offices primary focus has shifted from solid customer service to just making a profit. Their customer service has seriously suffered as a result. It was time to go elsewhere--we are glad we did.
