Store time says it is open until 8 pm on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday however if you go there after 7.40 then you wont see any vegetable & everything will be removed from the shelf to keep in the fridge. Also, when you arrive then employees will greet you with "store will be closing" then welcome or how are you. I was not only the one who entered after 7.40pm on Monday, but there were many customers who were entering and everyone was getting the same response from the employees (dont know if the owner were there or not). I am going there from last 2 years but this is really Never "Welcomed". I was supposed to go to Desi Bazar (In Columbia- 35 miles from my house) on last Sunday but I was an hour late so decided to go Apan desh since its 10 min from my house. So next time go at least 45 min before closing time (even though you have to leave early from your office) because owner/employee doesnt want to stay late in their office. Common All "Indian business owners". This is not only with one Indian Business owner, however, is with most of them. Everyone is in a big hurry to close the store or pack the things before the closing time. if you have that much of hurry to close the store then write it on the door itself. Last entry by 30-45 min before closing (like how Museums does or American Restaurants does). Dont forget, you are in America & Every American store gives priorities to the customer than their own time. We must learn from them. They welcome customers even 1 min before the closing time & will get full service. I think we must keep our "Desi" mindset aside and learn something from American. Only "I am the USA" - Proud feeling will not make you great. Think Big & Make the customer happy than employees.

Love this place. I found all the essential oils that I needed and their prices is so reasonable. The staffs are extremely helpful, not sure if it was the owner, but he actually left his post by the register to come help me find the item I was looking for. Oh, and on a visiting hot day, he gave my little girl a mango juice on the house, she loved it. Thank you, hope you remain in our little neighborhood for a long time to come. Im going back for some Hibiscus powder or tea, hope they have it; fingers crossed.

We used to love coming here. Until recently, my husband and I Purchased a product that was EXPIRED in 2014. We purchase the product a lot so we know how it should have tasted. We brought it back to the store, just wanting to exchange. The store refused to exchange it because "we opened it". Well you shouldnt have put product that expired two years ago. Im in the process of contacting the manufacturer now.. its ridiculous that I have to go through all this for a mistake the store did.

Crdit card been charge twice and when I told them they advise me to dispute the charges, and there credit card is behind the counter so the cashier charges the card. No sense of customer service. In the past when we bought canned mango which we found after opening they were bad and when we told them they said we cant do anything. I have shopping at other indian grocery store for 20 years and H Mart for 10 years, never had any issues.

I was underwhelmed by the selection of fresh vegetables and what was their looked like it had been there for a while. The dates are coated in pesticides. Even after washing them I got sick. Large selection of Frozen Indian dishes, good prices on everything including giant tubs of ghee.

Best place in the area for Indian groceries. The prices are always great and there is a large selection, especially of different frozen meals and produce. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I also recommend you grab one of their fresh somosas at checkout; they are amazing.

They charged my credit card twice. Also, few things with got was expired. Store is not maintained well and prices are much higher compared to other locations near by. Service needs to be improved as well... -If you go here, look at expiration date.

Apna-Desh has a huge variety of produce, teas, spices, soft drinks, and frozen foods. Sometimes they have these incredible samosas on sale for 89 cents each. Get a Limca or a mango juice out of the cooler and grab some samosas for an awesome lunch.

The place is good they should stand behind there product! Disappointed with the flour I bought it had bugs in it. Please make sure sift the flour until you test it. Dont throw the bag.It can t be returned without the bag.
