I was very disappointed in what I saw at Barnes and Nobles. In the non fictions African American section, the books are very few and outdated and the books were placed on the last two shelves. On the top two shelves were books on Gays and Lesbian in the African American section. Two aisles over there is an entire section devoted to Love and Sexuality, but the books were not places in that section. As a parent of young kids that normally send my kids to also pick up books about their culture, you can imagine my concern when I see this. I have an issue with the eye level books in the "African American Non Fiction" is dominated by books not pertaining to the culture or the history of Black people. We already have a small section and to have it dominated by anything other than its true purpose is a travesty. I can only hope that if they are going to include books like that in that section it includes books that reflect the culture: Black Like Us: A Century of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual African American Fiction by Don Weise, Devon W. Carbado and Dwight McBride or Queering the Color Line: Race and the Invention of Homosexuality in American Culture

The place was awesome! There manga section was big but not wide. I asked a worker where a manga book was at but they didnt have it in the store but she told me that could have it shipped to the store which was something i looked in the worker,potential. They were very nice to me. But they didnt have a manga book what I wanted for a very long time, Corpse Party. Other than that,the were awesome! ^_^

Excellent selection. Convenient to sit and browse through a book. The Starbucks is a bonus to grab a drink or a bite while youre looking at your book. I like the accessories and other items. Great childrens selection of toys as well

Love this store, it has a very nice staff and a very calm and inviting atmosphere, with a Starbucks attached to boot. I hope that they can stay open for a long time, book stores are a dying resource.

Dont ever shop here. They are racist ...they dont like black people. Dont wanna get into the full story bec Im so pissed off. Racism is still alive smh. Im gonna pray for yall employees seriously.

Its your standard Barnes & Noble with a smaller than average cafe. If you plan on using a laptop or any other electronics while sitting in their cafe, they have no wall outlets.

Can only sit in FILTHY Starbucks section of the store. FILTH EVERYWHERE from the overhead A/C vents to the table tops, walls, and floors.
