Nice but I have seen better tanger outlets in other areas there missing some top upscale stores like Abercrombie kids , Abercrombie & fitch , J-crew , and much others I know back in the late 90s the county was talking about building a mall like pentagon city mall across the Potomac river in oxonhill Maryland but the national harbor was the county choice but its not to late to do that fort Washington Maryland has lots of archers of land to build a pentagon city type Mall but its biggest problem is the transportation and traffic on 210 route . I would like to see a upscale mall built here in the near future my house was $100,000 in the late 90s jump to $200,000 in mid 2000 and now with the new national harbor, MGM , tanger outlets , my house is now jump to $400,000 so if the County ever build a similar type pentagon city Mall in fort Washington Maryland my house might jump to $500,000 or more hopefully . For years my family shop in Virginia and Charles County Maryland it would be great to shop close to home for a change my neighbors shop around the fort Washington nearby areas There always complaining about how limited the shopping is around here so every month we all take a shopping spree out of the area . Oh its a cul-de-sac I live on

The Tanger at National Harbour is not as great as the other cities such as Mebane (NC)and Lancaster (PA) and I say this because of the stores the other cities have such as the Kitchen Collection and QVC Store. These stores always have great deals and are my favorite places to shop when I am out of town. Now, theres a Tanger in my backyard and Im still having to go out of town to enjoy these stores. Although, I thought there was a Kitchen Store there at one time. I had a pleasant experience at the Information Desk. The young lady that assisted me was very helpful and provided me with a new members card and coupon book, now I was ready to shop! Unless you are planning to do some serious shopping, the booklets are useless as it requires you to spend a certain dollar amount before you can receive a small percentage off your purchase. And, in some stores, the percentage off does not include sale items, wheres the fun in that. Overall, the layout is very nice and I love the fact that in the design planning, the physically challenged and seniors where thought of as there are ramps and many places to sit and rest, however more food choices would have been nice, too.

Awful. Experience. The socio-economic level of people roaming around this place is enough to revolt your entrails. I thought I was at a Wal-Mart next door to a section 8 project; or the MGM Casino winners who came to spend their spoils... Ive been to outlets before, but never felt unsafe like I did here. There were men recording the parade of see through pot-bellies, bras-less collapsed breasts and muffin tops from their benches...The stores carry items that are inferior, as if made for outlets only, fabrics and tailoring were clearly not the same as in non-Outlets. If you wear a size 12 or above forget about it. You wont find your size. The customer service is sub-par. The store attendants are used to their lower level clientele so theyre used to following you wherever you go or plainly ignoring you... Good name brand stores Elie Tahari, Brooks Brothers but forget quality and safety. I cannot imagine if they had a food court. It would be a zoo.

I love these outlets for the stores that are offered there. Almost all our favorites are there and parking is great because it goes all the way around, so never a problem. Its clean and well-maintained. I like the location near the National Harbor and MGM. The one thing I noticed is that many many store employees (Id say about 50% of the employees I encountered - from numerous stores - it was kind of across the board) were unpleasant, meaning there were no smiles when you walked in the door, no greetings, no eye contact; acted like you were making them go out of their way to help you. At Ralph Lauren, I had to ask for a manager so I could get help looking for a product. She was kind and helpful, but not dressed very professionally (sorry for being nit-picky, but Ive been to a lot of outlet centers and the difference was considerably noticeable).

Not crowded shopping experience. Sales plus coupons too. Im a Tanger member so I received a coupon book as well as the coupons I received in the mail. The deadline is 8/21/2016. I cant use them all by then. Some store sales were better than the coupon. I had not been in awhole. The Mall office location has changed to the left and around the side entrance. Turn in your sales receipts. When you reach 250 in points (1 for each dollar) you get a special reward. I gave to the American Cancer Society one year and received a free vinyl bag. This time I gave just $3.00 for endangered animals and received a double handled vinyl shopping bag.

Ive been to many different outlet shopping centers and I continually come back to this one time and time again. The location is great, just outside D.C. and very close to the MGM and National Harbor. There is a great selection of stores which have great deals-- you can also get a student discount book from the management office with your student ID. The only place this center falls short is in terms of dining options, as theres not much in the way of food except for small snack shops (its a problem with most outlet centers). Luckily, National Harbor is nearby and you can have a meal there.

Like every Tanger outlet Ive ever been to, the parking lots are crowded and completely devoid of good pedestrian areas, meaning you dodge both cars and people in your quest to park. It probably took ten minutes from the moment we turned into the outlets to get to the area we wanted and park. Otherwise, there were no issues. We went for a specific store, so I cant speak to the variety of stores, though it looked like all the usual suspects were there. There was a light rain when we were there, so I appreciated that, though it is an outdoor mall, the walking areas were covered.

This outlet is amazing. They have several high end stores and lots of stores to not break your wallet. It is unfortunate that all the stores are little and could use way more square footage. I wished in planning they had more restaurants to offer so one doesnt have to leave the premises to go a better restaurant. Dont get me wrong love me some Johnny Rockets but Im not always in the burger and hot dog mood. I think adding some variety food choices would get people to stay and shop more. I know it would get me to make am all day trip out of it.

What a surprise. We have been shopping at the Tanger Outlets in Delaware for some time now. It is so nice to know there is a center closer to us. The mall is quite large and open. One really nice feature is the roof over the walkways. Great for bright sunshine or rain. I am sure that Tanger does not hire individual store employees, but all salespeople that we encountered were very pleasant and helpful without being pushy. The one disappointment - only one sit-down restaurant, and that one was quite small. All in all - a pleasant experience.
