I went there this evening and had the worst customer service experience of my life. They have the hours posted clearly and closing is at 9:30 pm on Saturdays. I walked up to the door and it was not only locked but there was a young man telling me although it was 9:20 they were closed. I with two other customers, who walked up the same time as myself were pretty upset. I was there to get one item but during check-out the cashier began, with a nasty attitude, telling me tomorrow next time were closed. Funny enough when she said that it was 9:28pm. Clearly the management there is pretty bad for all of the employees to think that its ok to give such poor service. I will take my money elsewhere even if it means paying more. Id rather pay for good service than have to get cheap food and be treated so bad. Hope others consider taking there business elsewhere. Very rude and nasty. Never again will I step foot in that place unless its to receive an apology. Then again I dont want anything from them. Ill just stay away.

I never go back to that store a cashier I spoke very rude, just because I told her to be careful with my wic card put it in a place that had water, and quickly she answered me: if you do not like it then do not take your card The bag, I told him that it was to save his work and go faster, I told him instead of getting to argue with me that he rushed to take care of me because I had to leave soon with milk for my baby, then I answered another woman and Told him not to continue answering me that he will not go down, I do not understand why people do not like their work because they work on something else.

A racist associate works in this place. I think She has a racial attitude towards black men. The store policy is that ID cards are to be shown for verification if you are using a credit card. However, each time i go there with my debit card and she has to ring my items she will insist I show my ID. This happened 4 times and the 5th time she did that i said no because i am using a debit card. She finally process my transaction without having to see my ID.Maybe because i did ask to see her store manager.However, other store associate are professional.

very bad customer service they spoke to my mom very rudely about a particular fish she order and when i reported to the acting supervisor lee changwan she ignored me and the boys at the fish area kept on speaking in Spanish and raining insult on us, my mom and i forgetting i understand some good amount of spoken Spanish what a shame for the people at food way to stand behind the scale and manipulate the machine and give u any amount of for ur for money to increase shame gosh

Worst management ever , overpriced and expired foods, they treat there employees like trash and dont care about the customers. all they care is about profit, they need better management, asian lady that is the manager shouldnt deserve such a title. place has old meat and expired foods placed on the front. they probably dont have any set policies for there employees which is sad because these people dont speak up.

Question: How come some of the sale items they have in your flyer will not be in the store in New Carrollton, MD? They dont even have the sales papers to refer to, so they dont have to honor the sale price. It happens all the time. You cant speak to the manager, he/she is never available, what is the problem? The employees act as if they dont know or understand what I am talking about.

Foodway store is a good place to shop for international food. It cost effect too compared to some similar stores. Recently, a friend of mine introduced me to a nutritious produce, acorn squash. I could not find it in many stores. But when I went to foodway, I found it there

Bought short ribs $30 worth and a fryer chicken $7 along with beef chuck when i got home and put the groceries away it was a horrible smell. Called back to tell them they served me bad meat they said no refund and hung up. R u serious I WILL NEVER BE BACK.

The company has the vilest management. They do not believe in quality of service as well. And what is more, the goods are overpriced and of poor quality!! I intend to contact the U.S. Department of Agriculture and lodge an official complaint!

They need to apply air freshener in the farm produce environment. Also need reduction in prise of flour and trays for packing food. Good place for shopping.
