My girlfriend and I were looking around for new furniture for our house and found an add on Facebook for this company. Cheap prices and decent looking stuff lead us in. We visited the Hagerstown, MD location and the staff at the time seemed somewhat helpful. First off the place is a maze. If you walk around by yourself, youll end up in the back warehouse. NOT kid friendly. There are so many hazards for small children. We ended up buying a living room sectional and a 7 pc. bedroom set and paid for same day delivery. When the furniture arrived we noticed we were missing a nightstand. It was highlighted on the paper and the delivery driver said it was the companies mistake and it is on back order and we should have been told. We called the store and talked to the gm who personally said they would drive to a different location and pick up one they had in stock and hand deliver it to our address. We agreed. A month later and a phone call a day, everyday they are open and still no result. As it is past 30 days I demanded to speak to management up one calling today and he assured us that we could get a refund for the nightstand. We drive 45 mins to the location just for them to tell us that corporate would have to mail us a check. This is after arguing with the 8 people standing up front and me asking who I talked to on the phone and wonder why they couldnt just tell me that they would mail it on the phone to save me the trip. If your looking for furniture, spend your money elsewhere. This company is horrible.

So far my experience has been pretty terrible. I bought furniture on 7/11/2016 and was told it would be delivered on the 20th. I was told no refunds for 28 days. I was given a loaner couch where they only sent one person to unload and we ended up messing up my floor grtting it in. So 8/8/2016 comes which is twenty eight days and no phone call no furniture. I finally hear from them on Wednesday that they have it and am told that i cant have a refund because it was available. I guess i was supposed to know that they got it via magic. So now i have called customer service and they told me no deal and i am waiting on the regional manager Eric greene to return my call. In short i bought merchandise based on a time frame they couldnt deliver on and they are refusing to refund my money even though the paperwork says it will be available in 4 weeks or full refund. I would go in with low expectations and not trust this obviously shady company.

Bought a living room set on march 7th bought the warranty on march 29th I informed them the loveseat had broken (the board under it broke just by sitting on it) was told it would take 15-30 days to fix. 30 days later was told it would take 15-30 business days said I was calling corporate they then told me to bring it in they would replace it I told them I had no way to bring it back received no response after 3 emails and no response I called corporate received a phone call right away saying it would be delivered this weekend the driver would do it as a favor to him. Never received a phone call as to when it would be delivered. My husband has called yesterday and today never was I called back they told my husband today when he called it was a $60 fee to have the broken one taken and new one delivered. Calling corporate and bbb tomorrow

If I could give them a zero I would but I cant. This is the rudest place I ever been to. First off I call this place to make sure my furniture is there before I go to get it because thats what they want you to do and the guy on the phone tells me oh yeah its here so i go pick it up and guess what its not there. They give me some story about how its on back order and it should be here sometime in November mind you we went in the store at the end of October. So we called a few times in November to see where our furniture was and we either got oh Ill call you right back or we got hung up on. Now its December and still no furniture we call and get no answers. So for anyone looking for furniture GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Mattress searching!! My husband Wayne and I stopped in the Hagerstown store on June 9, 2016 we found a king size mattress we like, for a great price! We met the sales person Steve Pemstein (aka: Steve Martin) who made our purchase really easy. He informed us about the awesome mattress cover. He even went back and tagged our mattress!!! Steve is a really nice guy and a good jokester!! The whole sales team there is really nice and easy to do business with. Cant wait to be sleeping in our new bed... I already referred my sister to the store, and will make sure to refer some friends there too see Steve!! Very Nice Store!!

Found a nice looking sectional for what seemed like a decent price. Well the cushions went flat within maybe 2 months if that. So you feel like your sitting on boards. The 2 pieces are constantly sliding apart on a carpeted floor. On top of all that less than a year later the arm rest on one side has broken. The couch is still usable but barely. They talked this couch up so much before we bought it I thought it was going to be great. On a side note. Some of my family also bought furniture from there and theirs seems to be much better quality. I guess maybe we just bought the cheap junk.

Matt is the friendliest salesman Ive ever had the pleasure of coming in contact with. He is knowledgeable, extremely kid-friendly, and not pushy whatsoever, not to mention handsome and funny! Came in on a whim looking for a bed for my teenager and walked out with an amazing deal! Glad we stopped and would recommend 100 times over! Being a single parent of two non-stop growing children can be difficult to keep up with their needs, but I felt like we left with a great deal and will purchase from American Frieght again in the future.

Thank you Matt for fixing the problems that Ive encountered. An ex employee, that sold me some furniture and helped me with a layaway, told me many lies and even said he would put money down on my layaway if I bought the furniture I did. Well he didnt and my layaway was canceled. Matt straightened that out. Recently a protection plan was added to my layaway, bring my total up $100. As soon as I let Matt know he promptly removed it. Thank you, Matt for assuring me that I would have "smooth sailing from here on out.

I had such an awesome and wonderful experience!! Jose was the best. From the moment we walked in the door, him and Sasha welcomed us and were absolutely wonderful with helping us find what we wanted and even went above and beyond to find us the living room suite we wanted!! Matt was also the greatest and even waited after hours for us to pick up our mattress set and living room suite! They are the best and I recommend them to anyone!!
