R. Gessert on: The Richness and Convenience of Downtown Frederick Needing to replace the battery in my wrist watch, I went to my nearest downtown jewelry store for repair. Despite their size, this store explained that they did not have the tools for opening the back of my watch, but could send it out for repair at considerable cost. I asked if they knew of anyone else in or near downtown Frederick that had the needed tools. The salesperson politely said there might be a jewelry store in the Mall that replaced watch batteries. With limited mobility, I chose rather to look on the internet for a nearby store. I found Yaneth Reyes LLC just a few blocks away on North Market Street. A quick visit confirmed that this store could replace my battery in a few days after ordering a new one from their supplier at a cost about a third that of the shipping cost quoted by the other store. While there, I also asked about the cost and time to reduce the size of my wedding band that had become loose as my finger shrunk. In short, I decided to have the ring down-sized as well as the battery replaced, both at what I considered to be acceptable cost and time. I now have a good running watch and a perfectly fitting ring that looks like new, and Yaneth Reyes has another satisfied customer. I would not hesitate to recommend this fine downtown jewelry store for its responsiveness, quality of products and services, and attractive prices.

I wanted a custom engagement ring made and my only requirement was that the jeweler use gold and diamonds from a ring I had just inherited. I came across Yaneth who was able to do just that. I met with her one afternoon and gave her an idea of styles I liked, etc. Then a week later I came back and what she had come up with was amazing. She (beautifully) sketched out six different rings, all of which captured my vision perfectly. I loved them all and would have been happy with any of the six, but finally I picked one. Fast forward several weeks - she got my ring done with amazing timing. I realized when I began my custom ring endeavor that I would be cutting it close to my wedding day, but Yaneth assured me that she would do everything she could to make sure I had it when I needed it. I really appreciated that. The ring is stunning. Even her amazing sketches couldnt prepare me for the end product. I love it. The customer service is also wonderful. Oscar is always very pleasant and easy to talk to which sets a nice tone. Id 100% recommend Yaneth Reyes Jewelry not only for amazing custom pieces but for the experience of shopping for jewelry created by a true master who is honest, passionate, and the best at what she does.

Oscar runs the front of house and has always been helpful and knowledgable about pieces either to repair or alter. We first discovered this store when we were looking for a repair and had been quoted a very high price from another local, larger store. We walked in and Oscar quoted us less than half of the previous quote. The work was done well and we were confident. Oscar and Yaneth worked on another project with me that involved using scrap gold to contribute to the cost: The result was wonderful as they really took time to understand what I was looking for. In addition to Yaneths pieces, they buy work from jewellers in several countries so the choice on offer ranges from ultra simple, architectural Italian pieces to those with an ornate, middle eastern flavor from Turkey and very classical pieces as well. Several of my favorite earrings came from this eclectic collection. The pieces in the shop window are very ornate and glitzy but dont let that put you off as there is a wide range inside the shop.

The BEST experience I had with any jewler. PERIOD! I had a former jewler custom make a piece of jewelry for my wife as a Valentines Day gift. They stated that it would come out perfect and on time. How wrong were they! Because of V-Day I took it to give to my wife as a gift (I was not happy) but took it because I didnt want to be empty-handed when I met my wife and because I decided not to use this former jewler again. I then found Yaneth Reyes, LLC in Downtown Frederick and WOW! They took my piece and repaired it to the way I envisioned. I could not be any more happier with their quality, their personnel and their knowledge/understanding of what I wanted. Their pricing is considered fair and reasonable. Just remember... you get what you pay for with other jewlers; Cheap charge = Cheap Quality. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Yaneth Reyes, LLC Jewler to anyone looking for The Best.

I had my vintage engagement ring repaired, appraised and resized here. They were MAGNIFICENT. My fiancé had ordered my ring for me from an online retailer but I had not seen the ring in person before its arrival. So when I took the ring to Yaneth Reyes for the work I requested that I physically NOT see the ring and they happily obliged. Even when I picked up the ring, they slipped it on my finger while I looked away to ensure the correct fit. They were very knowledgable and were able to tell me details about my ring that I had not known. The work they did was perfect AND was delivered quickly, before the promised delivery date. They took their time helping me while I was in the store, as several customers came in while I was being helped and they were very professional when deal with splitting their time between us all. I will definitely go to them in the future

I cant say enough wonderful things about Yaneth and her craftsmanship. For the past 19 years, I had been looking for a trusted jeweler to reset a ring that I received as a child. Once I met Yaneth and saw all of her beautiful creations in the store, I knew I found the right person to reset this sentimental piece. Not only did she design the most stunning necklace from this once very simple ring, the quality of the final product was amazing. She has since designed several other gorgeous pieces for our family. She is, by far, our favorite and must trusted jeweler. Apart from being a talented designer and craftsman, she is personable and takes the time to learn exactly what her clients like. My husband and I have been in the store several times and always marveled at the unique pieces in the shop. When it came time for an anniversary gift, I suggested going to the shop. Every piece of jewerly is a work of art and we found a stunning engagement ring to replace my old one. Yaneth and her husband Oscar helped us pick out the perfect piece, and even found a wedding band that complimented the engagement ring! It truly was made just for me! They are not only wonderful to work with, but they are truly experts at their craft. Hard to believe that there are still artisans at work creating one of a kind rings that meet every expectation of a customer. I was amazed at the level of service provided but more so impressed by how the owners listened to me and helped me decide what exactly I wanted as a heirloom ring. No sales pressure, not a you should buy this instead approach at all, but simply an honest and customer focused service. The ring is outstanding, quality in every detail of my familys clan badge.
