Every time I went into this place the owner would overshadow the salesperson that was helping me by cutting in on my deal that was previously offered. He then wanted to charge me more than what the salesperson and I had previously agreed upon. This happened on both of my visits. The owner always seems to have an attitude and if you come in there with high knowledge under your belt on what you want to purchase he will try to belittle you and basically tell you that you dont know what your talking about. One day he had a pinball machine on the sales floor that I was interested in and was ready to buy it cash money. I started looking at it and he yells at me not to touch it. I then ask is it for sale, he growls, NO!! At that point I just walked out and that should have been my first and last visit. If you have something on your sales floor thats not for sale shouldnt it NOT be on the floor and in the back instead? Common sense. Fast forward to my visit today and I see an item I want. I look at it and its severely broken in a few places leaving it to cost more to fix than its asking price, it was already overpriced in the first place. I make an offer and he counter offers for $50 less than the asking price which was still to much for what it was. He then looks at me asks "you wanna know why? Cause allot of guys want these" I think to myself, yeah thats why its been sitting in here for over a month unsold. I said no thanks and walked out for the last time. This place is always empty with no cars in the lot and now I realize why that is. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the Famous Pawn locations or Coles downtown, they will treat you the way a customer is supposed to be treated. With respect and great customer service.

For all the nay sayers, this is a business, like any other. The owner is in it to make money. You are trying to get money for stuff you dont want, or have to sell. So he doesnt give you what you want. Simple reason...it isnt as valuable as you thought. He is a professional buyer and seller. Your slightly used items will not get anywhere near retail! Your "rare" item CAN be found on ebay. You want to try getting a better price? Good luck on ebay! You say he doesnt know what hes talking about? Im sure he knows more than you! His loan rates may be high, but if you have low credit, he is a reasonable alternative. This is as good, or better than the other pawn shops in town for what it is.

Generally bad experience. I recommend keeping stuff youre not sure about selling in your car, because once you bring it in, its all or nothing with what is presented. All you have to do is just say you want to keep 1 thing the owner sees as valuable, and hell tell you to take his offer on everything combined (which is severely under market), or go home, along with everything you brought, unsold! Even if the individual other items were profitable to the shop. Greed. Hardly Pawn Stars. Just make multiple trips to the car. Start with the low end stuff. Then medium, and so on. Dont do it in one swoop, or youll be sorry (and ripped off).

If you ever go into this pawn store, please record ALL conversations you have with the owner. He goes back and forth on his word and try to make you look like a liar. He will also tell you something will be ready on a certain day then he will claim that its messed up because you rushed him when you pick it up the day AFTER it was supposed to be done. He also seems to have a problem talking to women. No problem talking to my husband but when I tried to talk to him he would literally walk away and stop speaking to me. Please just dont deal with this store. If you must RECORD ALL CONVERSATIONS!!

I would stay away from it. I buy things from a number of different pawn stores. This is the only one I have ever been in that does not Mark the price of what theyre selling. If you want to buy something then look it up on the computer (ebay I saw it) and give you whatever price the feel like. I talked to 3 different people in 3 days about the same item and got three different prices all over the place. And I was told stuff that was on the sales floor was waiting to come out of pawn.

I have been doing business with since it opened its door. I have taken out loans on several occasions and have been treated fairly with both the interest as well as the timing. I have bought alot of items from the store all at great rates. I have sold gold and silver at great market rates. The atmosphere is pleasant and I feel very welcome. I always leave the store feeling like I got a great deal on whatever I did.

The man who "helped" me was short tempered and rude. He almost appeared to enjoy insulting people for a living. He acted like a totla "know it all" but it was clear he was talking out of his a$$. I recommend not going here unless you want to be completely ripped off.
